Auday Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 In NBA 2K15 on current-gen consoles you can now scan your face and put yourself in the game, something similar to EA but in a way more professional way. The way of scanning is using Kinect and Playstation Camera like in this video. But don't get your hopes high to use it in CAW mode because it needs shots from all side and rotating your face while it works so you can't use refs of someone from internet and add him to the game, it must be you. It actually seems like they will add it to add more realism to career mode, where you scan yourself and go through NXT and make your way to be a champion on the main roster. Quote
fufu ÷ Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Doubt it'll be in 2K15. If they're only just rolling it out in their main franchise, I doubt they'll have had time to implement it in a WWE game that still isn't a fully fledged member of the 2K Sports gaming series. Definitely cool and something to look out for though. Quote
Ballard Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Fucking amazing. We've come a long way since Rainbow Six Vegas 2 haha. 1 Quote
Codes. Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Now if only there was a way we could use neutral pics of wrestlers to do the same thing. Hm... Quote

If it's in, then that's pretty cool. Prepare for a lot of ugly basement dwellers putting their faces onto overly buff models in online matches. Quote

w00ody Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I can see this being in, they did say something big was being added to the creation suite and i see this being the big addition they are teasing.Even the half assed Fifa game last year has this so i can see it being a main vocal point when they reveal the creation suite four days before release. McLeod Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 My question is how does the scan work with hair? I have a fringe that covers majority of my forehead so would my hair turn into my skin? Quote
Propellarhead9 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) If they add this I will be having quite a few iwa-ms wrestlers over to my place Edited September 17, 2014 by Propellarhead9 Quote

Big Pete® Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) Nah, it will have some kind of recognition tech, ie: it knows if its a face or not. Edited September 17, 2014 by Big Pete® Quote
McLeod Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 It probably won't recognize my face then Quote

Brianthespaz86 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 i so hope wwe 2k15 has this feature Quote
mrelectriccity Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 (edited) there could be a lot easier way to do it for WWE 2k15 1. Select ya body shape like usual and morph it to best fit you. 2. Once thats complete have a button to switch to the camera 3. Brings up a split screen, on the left side is actual you being picked up by camera (like the first exercise game for kinect on 360)and on the right is the actual CAW model 4. Have it give you commands to scan your whole body all the way around (That way it'll have your whole body and not just your head in the game) 1. Front body 2. Side with arm down, then with arm up 3. Back 4. Other side with arm up and then with arm down 5. And after each scan you will see yourself generate onto the CAW model, that way if you need to adjust and rescan something you can see it and fix it then. 6. Once thats finish save it, and it'll save your body onto that CAW model, then u can go back and edit it like usual hair, eyes, clothes, etc and i remember reading someone aint sure if it was about a certain game or not but i read that at least on the Xbox 1 that game developers have full control of rather or not they allow users to use the Kinect cam for scanning themselves into a game Edited September 18, 2014 by mrelectriccity Quote
