Sons of Anarchy: The Final Season

So did anyone catch the season premiere? What'd you think and do you have any predictions/hopes for this final season?

 

I personally love this show and consider it the best show not on a premium channel (happy GoT fanboys?) right now. Then opening and ending tonight were pretty goddamned gruesome and apparently this season is gonna be dark. I can tell I'm already gonna get pissed watching it for Jax being so fucking blind. When Gemma gets hers, I hope that it's Jax twisting the knife in her... If not him I hope it's Unser... if he survives long enough. Which brings me to my next thing, IF JUICE DOESN'T FUCKING DIE WITHIN THE NEXT FOUR EPISODES I SWEAR TO FUCKING CHRIST! Seeing Marilyn Manson is interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing where his character takes the season, I don't expect him to be a major player in everything but still... As far as a broad overall endgame I want to see from this season? Everyone needs to die aside from Chibs, Chuckie and Zombie Op. Yes, Opie is going to come back from the grave and bitchslap Jax until his hand falls off while calling him a dumbass.

 

SoA is the only show that I'll totally suspend disbelief for and become emotionally involved. All day at work today it's all that everyone was talking about. I know I woke up today going "Fuck yeah! It's Friday and Sonsday! Can't wait to get home and take my pants off!"

 

On a side note, after watching Charlie Hunnam on Anarchy Afterward, his voice annoys the shit out of me! However, I am impressed at him being able to keep that annoying accept in check while he's in character.

Loved the premiere. Gotta say that Sons if probably my all-time favorite show just beating Breaking Bad. Shows with writers so brilliant are a rarity these days and that Kurt Sutter is a fucking genius. It's gonna be a bittersweet season because I'm not entirely ready for the show to end.

Gemma convincing Jax that the Chinese killed Tara is probably going to end up crippling the Sons' relationships with all the other gangs/clubs. I'm ready to see Juice get his soon too. I have a feeling he'll end up killing Unser in the next episode.

Well I was trying to keep this thread spoiler free like the Arrow thread(s)...

 

I'm okay with the show ending. It'll suck for it to end but the last 2 shows I didn't want to end (Rescue Me & Dexter) overstayed their welcome and did irreparable damage to the series as a whole. I'm sure Kurt Sutter will have another show, doubt it'll be as big as SoA but I'm sure it'll be awesome.

Shit, my fault. I put some spoiler tags in. But yeah, I think he said something about a prequel series possibly being in the works and I believe he also has a show set in the medieval days coming after Sons wraps.

I love this show too its my 3rd favorite besides Arrow and Dr Who. I remember seeing the season 1 teaser and it intrigued me and I kept watching to now. I hope this season goes out with a bang.

Link? I thought the Original 9 series was just a rumor and he'd shot it down. I don't really wanna see a typical spin-off but I wouldn't mind a series revolving around Chibs, or possibly something set in the same universe as Sons.
