System Cache Question

I know this isn't particularly related to wwe 2k14 modding persae, but the question is about RGH consoles which most modders have so this should be in your guys alley :D

i was wondering if its safe to clear the system cache in the dashboard of the 360 .. will it do anything to the RGH ? is it safe ? i just want a clean up a few things.

i am just worried it might to something to the RGH has anyone does this before ?

i want to try this because freestyle dash crashes frequently and i was hoping this could possibly help it , also my disc version of the walking dead season 1 that i have installed also lags( i know that this is known issue with 4gb consoles but i have a 250 gb hdd)

it's not necessarily anything to do with the System Cache. System Cache is basically a collection of data on your HDD, usually things like hotfixes and small updates, that your console will access when you play a game. as you own an RGH, you won't be online, which means your console shouldn't really have a lot of temp files or hotfixes, if any at all.

if your FSD crashes constantly, it may be something to do with your game paths. usually with FSD, a simple re-install will fix most things. also, DONT install DVD's and disk games with FSD. It's just not great. I'd use xex menu everytime. this may be why your DVD lags.

I've had trouble with buggy Freestyle installs - clearing the cache won't fix that.

Like Titan says, best bet is to try a  clean install
