And why do people think the game will be effected by CM Punk and his lawsuit in anyway? Guess what? It won't. Let's put this to bed. 

 

Punk isn't getting royalties directly from this game. Nobody involved in the game get's royalties directly from the fucking game. WWE the company get all the royalties, and the royalties are dished out amoungst the talent. (A lesson in royalties 101. Thank me later) 

 

So assuming that the game is getting "pushed back" or delayed or whatever because of this lawsuit, makes absolutely no sense. Punk wants his share of the royalties. That's on the WWE. Has no effect on 2K or their game in any way whatsoever. The WWE may request that 2K remove CM Punk's likeness as best they can, but they won't now because of how far they are into production. 

 

IF Punk has a case, he'll probably end up getting his share of the royalties. WWE will have to give them to him. Simple. Once again, either way has no effect on the video game or its production.

I never said he wasn't a big draw. It's just a mark way of looking at things. I'm in no way a John Cena fan, but it's safe to say he's a bigger draw, which is why he's on the cover this year. Clever, really. 

 

To suggest that one character alone is going to be a major factor in whether people choose to buy the game or not, is ridiculous.

 

WWE's television ratings haven't seen a dramatic rise nor a decline since Punks leaving. That's just not me arguing for the sake of arguing, that's fact.
