Edge Is Uncertain If He’s In The WWE 2K15 Roster

Retired WWE Superstar, Edge, is uncertain at the moment if he is to be included in the WWE 2K15 roster.

A fan asked Edge on Twitter if he knew himself if he will be a part of the the WWE 2K15 roster. If you remember correctly, Edge wasn’t named to be in the game as the announced roster didn’t show his name. Edge answered by just saying “beats me” and referred the fan to ask 2K Games instead.

2K Games only announced a handful of wrestlers so far in WWE 2K15. Many fans were upset the full roster was not named yet, but 2K Games promises more names are to be announced in the near future. Whether or not one of these names will be Edge remains to be certain.

Even Edge’s best friend Christian hasn’t been announced for WWE 2K15 yet. This is weird considering Christian is a currently contracted WWE Superstar. He’s not retired like Edge is. Zack Ryder also doesn’t think he’s in the game as we reported a few days ago.

Since Edge retired in 2011, he has still been in the games so far as a “Legend”. He’s in the WWE Hall of Fame so it would be sad if WWE 2K15 were to omit such a popular star like him. Let’s hope 2K Games announces him to be in the game very soon.

He could be in the 2004 portion of the HBK vs. HHH rivalry at a push if they remove all the Benoit content from that year but other than that there isn't really much of a reason to include him. I hope Edge finds his way in the game though.

I doubt it will be referenced. They'll likely have us play through the Last Man Standing match at the Royal Rumble and then show a video highlighting their Hell In A Cell match at Bad Blood. It sucks that they will miss 6 months of the rivalry but don't expect that part to be in.

Well roster wise this game is gonna suck , graphical side is looks good , mini-games that have be brought in seeing from the demo that sucks as well.

 

Could of just left the game play intact with the garbage mini -games added in why ??? we didn't Legends Of Wrestlemania for fuck sake.

I see edge being a regular in the game since his legend status is a selling point, on top of it he's a more current superstar that alot of their younger fans know and love. I mean come on he's the rated r superstar lol. Besides i believe the game is in the final stages of being worked on. You know by now if you will be in the game or not, he probably couldn't answer yes or no due to contracts or agreements to keep quiet. Just my opinion

If the game was left the same? Wouldn't we all be up in hands about how the game was the same then lol im kool with the improvements. Gives you that feeling of being in a real ring and not some over the top fast paced arcade game. 2 attempts at that kind of game failed. Wwe allstars suck and wwf royal rumble also sucked

Just because it doesnt have the roster you want doesnt mean it will suck...and graphics mean squat to be honest. Give me good gameplay over graphics anyday.

I mean they could put Evolution matches in there instead to cover those months. Such as Orton vs. Foley from Backlash or Batista and Flair vs. RVD and Booker. They can't just make out that 6 months of 2004 didn't exist to younger fans.

to be fair, the benoit part was part of benoit's story NOT HHH/HBK's.  but i guess it would have been cool to have some type of meme featuring him on some level.  Child killer or whatever or not he was a great wrestler

sounds to me that he's not gonna be in it, because they really wanting to scan everybody that they possibly can so they can look like the other models, cause i remember them saying something about them being upset cause they couldn't scan Punk which leads to him looking different from all the other models and since Edge hasn't been scanned which im sure he would've if asked to be apart of it. But only slight chance is if he's involved in any of the story lines in career mode or whatever.

 

And would be stupid to add Ryder to the game just a waste of money and space for one hasn't been active on main roster over a year not a part of any main story and 80-90% of the people that will play the game won't even use his character any way so why waste the time and effort into putting him into the game

Saying he doesn't know is one thing--could just be playing it up that he's not allowed to say without saying that he's not allowed to say, because if he were to say that, he'd essentially be saying he was in. On the other hand, maybe he just isn't which would really suck. I say that, not only as a huge Edge fan, but also because he's one of the very small few (along with Triple H, Undertaker and Kane) who have been in every one of these games since the first WWF SmackDown! on the original Playstation.

they did this once with big show in no mercy (or was it WM2000? not sure) for n64. somehow big show was not in the game but the feud leading to the fatal 4 with rock hhh foley and him was in

they replaced him with steven richards of all people

 

i think we just might see someone like eddie guerrerro or jericho take his spot

they should be able to produce some believable promo footage from all the material that exists

like the mashups in wwe all stars (which i really liked)

yeah WWE All Stars is still my fav wrestling game to date only thing sucked was lack of wretlers and game modes the look (arcade style big and bulked up versions) and the over the top Arcade moves were sweet like using Big Show u can toss your opponent in the air and kick him way in the air and out of the ring or if ur outside the ring he will kick them cleanly across the other side lol and all the signatures n finishers were huge to like Cena AA he would jump bout 10-15 feet in the air and just slam them down to the mat lol the ultimate wrestling video game would be looks and feat game mode of 2k15 but with the arcade play of All Stars.
