Was Brienj the guy that charged money for his hacking tools? If he is, the whole "taking him for granted" argument is pretty moot, he should just harden the fuck up. If that wasn't him, he just just harden the fuck up, wah wah they kept asking me questions about my work, woe is me.

no, i think he may have required donations for svr10 and 11 editors but from WWE 12 -WWE13 they were free of charge he's done alot for the modding community.  If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have been able to use the dlc ae edge christian and masked kane in wwe 12, and if wasn't for him the editors you see now would have taken longer to come out, as he's helped alot of modders along the way.  Even the self proclaimed god of modding: Pur3Rafx lol

 

 

If it wasn't for him, there would have been no modding community because there would have been no mods, the only modding thing before him was mods on ps2 emulator, and psp, 99% of us didn't even know that modding for console can be possible.

 

Still remember when he posted that hornswoggle pics for svr10, everybody claming it was fake, it was impossible, he was a fucking liar, few months later he released the dlc, with all the wrestler since svr07 in it, and then he started to explain to us, the file games structures, , the arc files etc....

 

he created the modding scene on 360, and some guys used his works to start modding on ps3 and WII

 

yeah i had a hunch that he had done some stuff on ps2 as well but since i really came into 360/ps3 so late (2009 actually) that's why i didn't mention it LOL but yeah he really helped pave the way for you guys LOL i remember a friend of mine that was on Caws.ws a while back Cad50 and he tweeted me a video of a brienj vid from SVR11 with the steiner elbow drop and hogan legdrop added into svr11 and he was like "I wanna do that!" LOL i was like yeah as do i.  Then WWE12 came out which is where i learned all there was with using the editors.  Brien was patient with me as at first i knew nothing! I didn't even know the editors could work on a non j-tagged console! When i found out about the caw injectors, the skin tone changer in his editor and then later the minitron and arena injectors, I pretty much became friends with him and i still keep in touch with him even today lol.

 

It's funny though Tich cause ever since i'd say maybe it was SVR06 or maybe it even went all the way back to HCTP i was always using your formulas to create goldberg year after year after year.  When you started saying you were using textures i was like OH NO! I can't create that goldberg cause i don't have a jtag 360 LOL

oh good times!

 

Speaking of that, i've actually gone back to playing WWE 12 some maybe cause the nitro arena is there, the show intros and universe makes sense but also cause i had so much fun in that game LOL You Petchy Brien will always be the guys i look to the most for creations/editors lol oh and can't forget tekken, Chris Spirito, WolfgangGT Clay Hodge, nWo Oldskool. Righteous for his awesome movesets, Slipfan for his Attitude Era Contributions, and that's just to name a few.  If i were to go back to the XHP Community, this post would be way too long! LOL

As much as I doubt a PC release, your point is invalid because anyone can hack anything, whether it is Xbox 360, PS4, or PC, all of these can be hacked.

yeah that's one reason i stopped uploading videos in WWE13.. people kept asking.. "how do you get titantrons in the game?" i'm like.. Ummm if you read the details in below the video you would know.  It just got annoying fast.

Different case if the info is difficult to find or tough to figure out, but yeah, some people gonna be lazy..

Hell yeah BrienJ is the man. However, all my 'modding' 'skill' doesn't come from him, I owe that to UndertakerWLF and Tekken, those guys helped me out with it a ton. But most, if not all, of what I know as far is hacking the game is concerned, that all came from BrienJ literally spending hours with me on IM, teaching me about hexing and stuff. He's a really cool guy, and as much as I'd love for the guy to come out of retirement, I know he's not going to. I haven't communicated with him for over a year, but I'd imagine he's found better games to hack!

well we aren't saying he's the only one that's done it, we're just stating the obvious that he's done alot for this community.  Last i checked, there weren't any save editors provided by you.

Yeah like i said that's why i stopped. that and the fact i was having issues with youtube degrading the quality of my videos.  Well when 2k15 comes out, atleast i can enjoy the satisfaction that i can upload/stream or whatever my captured content in HD LOL

yeah he told me around the time of the THQ Bust/Bankruptcy in 2013 that he was gonna try his hand at hacking/modding iOS games LOL I'm sure he's found his Niche'

No more time and I got bored with 2K14 a week after playing it. I do lurk around the modding section and check out all the amazing stuff people are doing!

 

I do mod No Mercy though, that shit is fun!
