The reason why Wwe 2k15 till now not have game play

I think of it that we will be more exited at release day, but to casual fans the word isn't really getting out.

I'm personally going to love this if the career mode is the same as the NBA career mode. I would definitely be playing more. The last 3 WWE games have been played for a week and then collected dust as nothing really made me keep playing.

I miss the days of having to play career multiple times as you roamed the halls of an arena looking for new storylines. It made me want to play. If I wanted the history storylines I would get the network and watch the real thing.

I haven't even played 2k14 in almost a month. I've been playing all the Smackdown vs Raw games over again for all the stuff I love and miss.

Best game was the one with the career mode you chose. You could walk the arena and see the GM and work up in the direction you wanted. I'm hoping that 2K15 will give that feeling back.

If they released all the info 6 months before the game came out then you would want the game right away? I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's hardly poor.

My expectations are very high this time, and I'm looking forward to being able to be genuinely interested in playing this game for more than 2-3 months. Career mode, Showcase and the DLC Showcases should give them game added longevity. I know that's what Universe Mode is probably intended for, but I get bored very quickly of playing the same matches.

well i was playing 2k14 (my mid-late attitude era universe atleast) till i loaded it up and got a corrupt save message.. i saved over it  hoping that it would just be a false message but nope.. i had to start all over LOL

No publisher would leave the hype this late by choice. It's 8 weeks from release and there's no gameplay released, plenty of evasive PR work, and the roster still isnt set in stone. There's a massive struggle going on behind the scenes here, Yuke's work won't be reaching 2K's standard. I still wouldn't be surprised if it's delayed.

yep, take two (who owns 2k) they do that for all their game , nobody saw gameplay of gta V 2 days before the launch, for nba 2k it's something like this every year, the only gameplay we see is always offscreen, we discover half of the games mod and new thing only when we buy it. And look at the quality of those 2 games

 

take two isn't EA or Ubisot they don't need to feed fans with info to sell teir games, only quality talks for take two, no bullshit promotions, edited screenshots, or pc gameplay in convention

It was like that for the mlb2k games as well. It sucks but ya know what can we do? Lol we tried making complaints about last years game and all we got was "the game is working as intended" if we were to complain about lack of info I'd bet we'd get something like "the game is being promoted as intended. Stay tuned for more details soon!" Lol

It's not that I am against their marketing tactics, or lack thereof. I'm totally for it in fact. We're all familiar with Take Two's approach.

It's the fact they did that bullshit roster reveal which left a sour taste in everyone's mouths. Sure, you can't please everyone and beggars can't be choosers, but what baffles me is, why did they go about doing it in the first place if it was to be as horrible as it turned out? Surely, they must have known that with that list.

Of course the panel was entertaining. If WWE had just televised that on the Network or put a stream on WWE.com, that would have been just as fine.

And I'll say it again. Truly a case of, "Let's at least give them something instead of nothing."

You're wrong about that. GTA V released 5 minutes of gameplay 4 months before it came out.

And 2K are publishing Evolve that releases next year and there's heaps of marketing running for that game.

On a side note, Australia classified NBA 2K15 in the middle of July, it release a couple of weeks before WWE. WWE still isn't classified. Game content still isn't locked down 8 weeks from release, no time for optimisation or bug testing...

They also publish the Bioshock series, not known for last minute marketing. And GTA isn't published by 2K, same parent company yes, but entirely different management and marketing team.
