PC Users miss out on a WWE game for 12th year in a row + Message of wh

With 2K taking over the rights to develop WWE games I had initially thought my prayers were answered with the recent push from 2K in the PC space but yet again for the 12th year running we lose out on any wrestling game.- Is it due to specs ? Nope, average PC stats taken from Steams 75Million+ userbase is more powerful than the PS4 and Xbox One- Is it due to mouse and keyboard ? No, the PC's strength is being able to use multiple peripherals to allow the user to feel more comfortable with different control schemes and steam already has a huge installed userbase who usegamepads for that very purpose. ( 7/10 most concurrently played games on steam have gamepad support )- Is it market ability ? Can't be, at the latest steam conference 81% of the buyers come from N.America and Europe- Well what is their to earn out of it anyway ? A large target for the WWE has for a while now been Russia, with Russia being the fastest growing PC market in the world (growing 128% in the past year) and having the second highest download rate (even higher than Europe) it would be a tragedy not to capitalize on this.- THE WWE NETWORK, Let's be quite frank with this, the WWE Network is growing at a VERY slow rate and being able to advertise your product in front of a concurrent userbase of 7.1M per day 24/7 on the same platform as that of which the WWE Network itself is on can only help itgrow to a more desired level.

I would be disappointed with this news back when WWE '12 came out, but I think all PC Gamers can just agree that WWE Games just won't come to the PC. Only three WWE related games have been on PC: WWF in Your House, With Authority! and WWE Raw, and the first two sucked badly.

You could always grab an emulator and play Smackdown/WWE games on an emulator...Wii/PS2 only...

maybe I'm wrong (yes it can happens, even if it's more unusual than ryder holding a title) but I think some years ago thq said that it's because of wwe if we don't have WWE licensed games on PC anymore. 

 

I don't see why 2k wouldn't want to release a pc version as they do it for nearly all their games (and all of them are modding friendly)
