Utter shite is stretching it. I still really like new simpsons episodes, I don't watch them as religiously as I did in the past, but man. The show is still great. Damn kids.

You must be one of the few people who think this

Well I'd disagree. I'm not saying the show sucks, its just I've heard so many people saying it nowadays

Lain wins. Shadow, please leave my topic.

As for my favorite 5 episodes? I can never remember the names of episodes but in no particular order...

The Stonecutters/Ho Homers Club episode.

The first(?) Treehouse of Horror with The Shining.

The "Who Needs The Kwik-E-Mart?" episode.

Mr. Plow.

Flaming Moe's.

Yeah, they're all older episodes because those are what I grew up watching. Our local Fox station used to show The Simpsons at 5/530PM and 10/1030PM which was awesome growing up, Dinnertime and bedtime were always Simpsons time. One the subject of new and old episodes, the new ones are still good, they've done so much over the years that it's hard to stay fresh, however it's still funny without resorting to constant cheap laughs or crude humor... They should be applauded for that.

I'm watching this, getting the popcorn, pajams, and Fuck you family guy fans SIMPSONS ARE AWESOME

Seems pretty cool as long as you stop watching after Season 11.

I've seen lots of great episodes since then, don't be so cynical. I couldn't name you any as I can barely name more than 2 episodes of the show as a whole.

Just preference I guess. I'm not saying all episodes of The Simpsons have been bad since S11, but for the most part, The Simpsons since then has for the most part been very inconsistent. Seasons 5-9 had some of the best episodes of animated TV ever produced, so there's pretty high expectations.

Can you name me anything with the sheer amount of episodes in that of The Simpsons that has as high a bar of quality? 552 is a crazy amount episodes and I can bet most people could take a random episode out of them all and enjoy it. I doubt many other TV Shows can do that.

Fozy why don't you list your favorite episodes after season 11

I prefer Family Guy over Simpsons, but I still enjoy both shows. They're good shows to just sit down and watch when they're one, which is good, because they're always on. I think the only Family Guy & Simpson episodes I can't enjoy are the older ones, so Season 1 of Family Guy and everything before Season 4 of Simpsons, which makes me opposite of many people.

I'm a fan of both Family Guy and The Simpsons, The Simpsons is easily the best in my opinion, because of my childhood memories, I grew up watching it every single day and never got bored of it, I don't watch it very often nowadays but when it comes on, I'll watch it, same thing goes for Futurama. It's still amazes me that there are 25 seasons. Family Guy had 14 seasons, yet there's still more seasons to come. FG has improved since Season 4.

I couldn't name you any episodes. Other than my favourite Trilogy of Error.

The Stonecutters/Ho Homers Club episode.

The first(?) Treehouse of Horror with The Shining.

The "Who Needs The Kwik-E-Mart?" episode.

Mr. Plow.

Flaming Moe's.

Fling Moe's? Didn't that feature their first ever celebrities?

Fairly sure it was a band of some description...

Yeah, wasn't Mick Jagger's sister in it or something?

Just wondering, have they remastered the first few seasons? Or have they left them as they were?

As they were. Why remaster them? That's part of the fun, seeing how it was compared to how it is now.
