You will need to extract the DDS Manually using a hex editor

Posted

You can extract the file where the background etc... is but you must extract the The Rock's render manually with an hex editor (I don't know why, the The Rock's DDS file is actually pretty strange, maybe the texture package is corrupted, I don't know).

i am getting this error i have followed every instructions.... i think the problem is dds setting (in HxD the original file(0139.dds) is showing dxt 5 but you said it should be "DXT1         ARGB   4 bpp | 1 bit alpha" my custom render's size is 170kb and the original file size is 256kb

I have a similar problem, only instead of freezing, all renders are invisible.

solved...........The problem occurred because of updating a wrong arc .......click on "update Arc non-wrestler" now i can see RVD render but i can still see the skin coloured background (but that's bcoz of my mistake )

Hi guys today i was searching the forum and selection pics change wasn't written as a tutorial before . just separated information in a lot of topics in the helping section.

So i decided to make a tutorial for beginners.

thanks to red Rooster for his information

Let's start

1-Open X-packer 9

2- Press (ctrl+R)

Odc9CT.jpg

3-choose your menuHD.pac file

98ufH4.jpg

4-for example i'm gonna edit Steve Austin's Render (Austin's ID = 101)

You will find SSFD and this file contains small icons.

and you will find 0101 listed 3 times.

SSFA

fPqHgE.jpg

SSFB

v13fUm.jpg

SSFC

Cwotvc.jpg

5-uncompress the file

l8iNuo.jpg

6-rename the uncompressed file from 0101.pac

cKzrCW.jpg

To   0101.dds

Q5Jd31.jpg

7-drag 0101.dds into Photoshop (Nvidia dds plugin required)

8-start a new document in photoshop

cTFy9J.jpg

9-fill it with this color

QHb19K.jpg     #8a6658

wsgdWk.jpg

10-Add your Custom render

W0W9Tp.jpg

11-Add some effects if you have photoshop skills (optional)

DoxzSP.jpg

12-save it and set the settings like this

LbUFkK.jpg

13-Use compress and inject option to inject the new file to menuHD.pac

kevxbp.jpg

15-Move MenuHD.pac to your WWE2k14 Game folder.

Notes:

SSFA and SSFB Resolution is 512x512

and SSFC is 256x256

If you get "0101.zlib.uncompressed" just rename it and remove the part "zlib.uncompressed" and replace it with " dds "

can someone tell me what was in 12 image i have try it in Nvidia but cant find the same save so i save it in paint.net and inject it but there is no changes in render i am doing this in wwe12

@MKKHANdid you tried this in svr 11 ? i can't find the pictures there is no SSFA SSFB or SSFC folder

Posted (edited)

@Piloun1 yes i make this just chek out this topic down the tutorial

I will tell you how to do that
1 in xpacker hit Ctrl+R and go to DLC_HD pac in your svr2011 game folder you will see SSFD for smalll renders picture and all superstars renders down the SSFD they are SSFA SSFB SSFC
2 if you want to change the normal renders inject your renders like jeff hardy renders as BPE using the pack editor make sure the size should be same as the renders in SSFA-B-C then hit update arc non wrestler and update you both arc in svr2011 game folder
3 if you want change the small mini images first you have to extract SSFD using xpacker in any folder then open the SSFD pach with xpacker you will see 0000 pach extract it in same folder again open the pach 0000 with xpacker you will find the mini images in 0000 pach and if you want change any mini image inject it with xpacker with same size
4 open SSFD in pack editor and inject the 0000 pach  what you make changes in SSFD using inject as BPE  5 open DLC_HD pac in xpacker again and inject the SSFD pach and hit arc non wrestler then update you both arc in svr2011 game folder

don’t forget making backup before doing any process
