csalt Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I have tried to find the answer to this, with no luck. I know its in menuHD and menuHD_dlc2.pacs but not sure the method to change them. Could someone help please? Quote
motishow Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Open your menu_hd.pac file using the "Pac Files with directories option" (ctrl+r) in X-Packer 9. Use the inject and compress button to inject new renders. If the renders cannot be compressed enough, save the file as dds dxt1 with 1bit alpha. Quote
csalt Posted August 17, 2014 Author Posted August 17, 2014 inject and compress into which directory? SSFD? ARC? 0100? Thank you for your help Quote
csalt Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 Is it the corresponding number with the ch.pac? If so which one because there are multiple ones? Quote
Titavius Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Is it the corresponding number with the ch.pac? If so which one because there are multiple ones that's correct. each model has three renders. two are 512x512 and one is a 256x256. these renders account for the different screens in-game (universe, title managment etc) so if you are wanting to replace a render for a specific model, you need to replace all three. csalt Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 One last question....which ones are the 512x512, and which one is 256x256? Does my render need be those corresponding sizes or can I just inject a 512x512 into all three? Quote
Ahmed Fahmy Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 here is a written tutorial SSFA and SSFB are 512x512 SSFC are 256 so you must inject 512x512 render into the first Two slots and 256 into the last slot Quote
csalt Posted August 22, 2014 Author Posted August 22, 2014 when I uncompress and or extract from 120(rvd) from menuHD_dlc2 I don't get 120.bpe and 120.pac, I get one file a zlib file Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 which version of Xpacker do you have? because if your using the latest version you should get 2 files. 120.pac.uncompressed 120.zlib Make sure you are uncompressing and not extracting. Also make sure that the path you are extracting to has no spaces in it ie: C:Mods\Renders\uncompressed - This will work C:Mods\Renders\My Uncompressed - This will not work Quote
Ahmed Fahmy Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 dude read my tutorial again i've added Zlib files to Notes... read the notes again Quote
