game informer went hands on w/ wwe 2k15 and this is their impression. Today, he has parted ways with WWE in real life, so unfortunately 2K was not able to get him in front of its scanners. I'm sure in a previous WWE game CM Punk's character model would blend in with the rest, but when everything else looks this good his face is noticeably off.

You can even hear Cena yammering at the camera before he runs down the ramp in his entrance. Crowds look better with much more face and outfit variety, new child character models, and dynamic chants that respond to the situation at hand.

Thinking about it now, this is VC we're talking about, not Yukes. The Punk face should look great, not as great as it would've been scanned but great nonetheless.

action figures lmao of course i haven't seen maoirty of the action figures but i see them advertise them on they website but i have never seen an action figure that looks exactly like the wrestlers unless they like an expensive high quality ones but 99% of wwe's look absolutely nothing like the real person  better off using 2k14 modek

Also I call BS, The first scanning photo that we saw was Justin Gabriel and by that time Punk was still in the WWE so I don't think it would take more than a month to scan the guys.

that's what jared said around last month when people asked what 2k was doing as far as legends that are deceased.  So i would think they would either use images from old events or magazines or action figures.  Still won't be the real thing but it's something lol . I guess this was Punk's way of F'king over all the fans once and for all :

you can't really call bs on game informer.  They actually have more info than IGN first does.  plus i didn't like 2k14 punk at all.. that entrance that model was horrible to me.

I'm not too worried if they have to use the Mattel Figures scans since they use a similar way of doing it. The scan has loads of detail but the reason the figures may not look detailed is because of the size, and they only use one colour for the skin/hair etc.

I can't imagine they'll use sub-standard CM models for a mode called "2K Showcase".

They would have scrapped the Cena / Punk story a long time ago if it looked like they wouldn't be able to get the punk model up to scratch. 

So either he's been properly scanned in or the model they made it great looking anyway...
