WWE 2K15 Official Roster Thread

I love how no matter where I go, there is always this feverish debate going on between modern/future stars and legends. And both sides are arguing for the same exact thing. "It's selfish that you get half the roster devoted to legends" "Oh yeah? Well its selfish that you get half the roster devoted to these boring new stars!" It's a never ending cycle I'll tell ya. But honestly, I think it's time the legends take the back seat. For the past two games the modern roster has suffered for guys that felt incredibly out of place, mainly due to the way they were integrated into the game. Since '13 there has been a disconnect between the two rosters, and that irks me. The small thing that gets me are the minitron graphics. It takes me out of the experience of having Randy Savage on RAW, when I have this giant ass WrestleMania XXX logo all over the stage. Minor gripe? Yes. But it takes away from the experience and it hinders it. The last game I truly enjoyed for more than three months was WWE '12, and its because for the most part, everyone fit together. Well except for fuckin' Demolition who kept showing up to every ppv in my Universe, but I digress. That's one reason why I'm becoming more and more pleased with this roster. The legends that we have so far are big names: Hogan, Michaels, Rock, Austin, Sting, Taker. Not to mention, legends we'll get from 2K showcase: Flair, Booker, Nash, classic attires. Everything is looking like they'll all flow together nicely.

Being objective here.

I can see why the younger guys want a current roster (Even though I would deactivate most of them, lol). Imagine if they put out Madden/2k but they left out the Hornets and the Timberwolves, then kept putting in the 95 Bulls and other Championship teams.There should be both to please everyone.

Again, I'm a Monday Night Wars/WCW guy but, I get why they want it.

This! This! This! If no one else gets confirmed but Christian, I'll be happy. Bad enough he gets so many concussions, but don't take him out when he's still on the roster. I'll be so pissed if he doesn't make it. Here's hoping that they are holding him Out to announce him with edge at a later date.

same here man i'm the same way lol but i'm over it.  I'm gonna make do with the game i get.  I do that every year, good bad whatever, i'm gonna enjoy it regardless cause i love wrestling

Yea. There's no reason for us to argue back and forth about Legends vs Current. The fact is they should all be in and we should be able to bench who we don't like. I only like a hand full of current guys but every guy should be in the game that's on the roster. I like Legends, but a kid who doesn't know who they are can just bench them. yeah, plus i think that was my problem last year, I am addicted to doing stuff wcw based, but lost track of doing my custom AOWA (Ace-OneWrestling Alliance) Fed universe show.  This year i'm not going to lose focus since it won't be that many wcw people in LOL and i won't just be able to take a save off of ps4 and change it to another profile like i did on 2k14 on 360 LOL.  but all in all yeah i just care more about the gameplay itself than the actual roster.  If the gameplay is bad or lacking, or modes or bad or lacking, it really doesn't matter who we get.  I am definitely interested to see how Booker's Model turned out.  LOL We go thru this everytime when he's in a game post 2011 but will it be a TNA Impact - esque model or will it be Mister Ed? LOL
