WWE 2K15 Official Roster Thread

WWE games are different. They're catered for Wrestling fans and sales have been up and down now for the last 5 years. Call of Duty is very mainstream and has had steady sales for years.

I wouldn't judge until the full roster is revealed, this game might still be jam packed with legends with a fully current roster including NXT, who knows none of us know exactly how big the roster is going to be

Having guys from the 80's in a 3D Wrestling game is a relativity new thing. "Back in the 80's" Wrestling games had about 10 playable characters and looked like this..

actually in the 80s i was playing ikari warriors and metroid.  I didn't get into wrestling until 96.  So there goes your theory.  and even so if the current roster wasn't so damn boring and them trying to make me commit to a 9.99 online service everytime i turn around (Twitter, WWE.com, Raw, Smackdown, the Roster reveal) maybe, just maybe i would be receptive to the whole idea.  I like some of the in game current people but seriously i prefer people like Nash, Hall, Luger, Arn Anderson, Piper, Bret Hart, Owen ( i know he'll never be in but still) etc that paved the way for your beloved Adam Rose, Fandango, Shield Members Cesaro, Sheamus ETC ETC ETC YADDA YADDA YADDA

I'd take ahmed johnson or tony atlas over Xavier Woods! hell i'll even take kevin sullivan over Xavier woods LOL but yeah i had a dream that 2k got alot of backlash and wound up owned by THQ last night LOL .,  If CAA isn't in, i may just pass an get destiny instead.  if the suite is crap same thing.  I always look forward to your created arenas every year and i know you mostly do the ruthless aggression just like Von but they need to add more stages to that lol i'm a RA and WCW Guy and if Custom tracks aren't in i don't know how i will manage.  I may not even use CC LOL

I can guarantee this product is better than the past whether safer or not. By the way, it's been getting edgier and edgier every week.

Legends are the reason these games will never be able to fully move forward, dead weight with the relive modes.

this coming from a 15 year old boy who would have started watching wrestling aroun 2004 at the earliest and that would put you around what 5 years old?

anyway when you have someone saying "get the WWE network for 9.99" 24 times per show, it's not a wrestling show anymore, it's an infomercial plain and simple. Wrestling was so much better from 95 - 2004 and that's saying something.  I don't deny that there are good people in wwe right now but you also can't deny the people that made the wrestling business what it is: HOGAN HART LUGER STING FLAIR STEAMBOAT SAVAGE WARRIOR VON ERICS ARN ANDERSON MYSTERIO MALENKO The list goes on and on

I never said they didn't make it what it is, and I'm sure the majority of us understand that. We appreciate what those men and women gave to us and we were happy that they got featured, until the majority of the current guys that we like got neglected and ignored in favour of 2-3 slots containing those same people. And everything else in these games was also neglected thanks to those people being the main focus, from the gameplay to the creation suite. A few should be included, but forgotten WCW, WWF or AWA midcarders have no place in these games and are just dead weight. 8-10 legends? Great. 20-30? Go play LOWM.

look there's 59 or whatever on the roster that's current, another 10 of that would make the roster 100% current.. why can't we just have the rest of those slots be legends or retro or whatever.  I would just want the nWo added back in, Luger in bret bulldog and neidhart in, because let's be frank, i was glad to get the nwo dlc and the legends last year but the gameplay was a shitty mess. That's the only thing i'm saying so

I've never called anyone unappreciative.  I'm calling you selfish because you think it's all about what you want.  you say legends clog up the roster.  Explain to us how legends clog up the roster with the proposal i made (i'm sure u didn't bother to read it because you're so hell bent on getting your own way) Look you're 15, i'm 33 (34 next month) we have different views, but i shouldn't be forced to only play with the current roster, i should be able to get more than just 5 legends to use.  20 out of 92 slots is not a bad number.  I don't get your problem.

Being objective here.

I can see why the younger guys want a current roster (Even though I would deactivate most of them, lol). Imagine if they put out Madden/2k but they left out the Bobcats and the Timberwolves, then kept putting in the 95 Bulls and other Championship teams.There should be both to please everyone.

Again, I'm a Monday Night Wars/WCW guy but, I get why they want it.
