In desperate need of assistance!!!

Okay so I am in desperate need of your help. I am lost. I am confused. I am aggravated. I did EVERYTHING the tutorials told me to do. I took the files that KNWWE1993 gave me with the erased backgrounds and wasnt sure what to do next, which step to take, and i opened them up in Paint.net and I saved each of the three files as dds files the EXACT way I was told. I went into KG971's tool and did what was asked of me, I saved, fixed, did everything I was supposed to. Then came the LeFluffie. I again, followed all of the directions I was asked to, and followed on to the wx HexEditor. At this point I did my best to copy what was asked of me, and nothing led me to believe that I was doin anything wrong, even saved as the new LOGOS.DAT folder. I must be honest I dont know how I would "restore it to your PS3 connect to CC and download one Logo and save it in one of the empty slots" so I then followed back to the first part of the tutorial. I downloaded the SaveGameTools archive, extracted, and again followed the directions. Now the only confusing part I had met is when I am supposed to rename a file to "template.sfo" which in the directory I am supposed to paste it in the name "template.sfo" already exists. Am I supposed to keep both? Get rid of the one that was originally in there? But that sadly was not the icing on the cake.

 

After doing all this, taking a save game from my Trivial Pursuit game, and copying the right save into the PS3's Save Data folder I figured all was hunky dory. Keep in mind I also tried running both the EU and US versions multiple times. First error message I got after the game asked me if I wanted to load another user's data was "custom logo error" or something incredibly similar. Then next time around a truly bizarre thing happened I loaded up, crossed my fingers and it FINALLY let me into the create a logo section. Problem is there were 4or5 logos there I have never seen before. On that appeared a full scale of white haired Scott Steiner, and the other few seemed to be face textures of possibly Chris Benoit! Now my logos were tattoos, MY PERSONAL tattoos. Nothing at all close to what came up. I am begging you. Please take over, tell me what I am doing wrong, find a way to take remote control of my computer, or guide me through this. I got pretty far, but I am utterly lost. 

 

It is also worth noting I have a USA Ps3 console.

Sounds like you have the wrong LOGOS.DAT file in your savegame folder. Copy your LOGOS.DAT file in the savegame folder. And check your file again it has to be all uppercase! LOGOS.DAT and NOT Logos.Dat.

 

Windows will by default hide the file extension, make sure that you unhide the file extension (google that it is very easy)

Wait a minute, I dont just copy and paste BLUS31277_SAVE (for US) to my usb stick/hdd in the folder "PS3/SAVEDATA" I ALSO am supposed to copy and paste the LOGOS.DAT folder in there as well? Do I put it in the same PS3/SAVEDATA folder?

Okay I feel like this game is against me haha. I went into community creations, and a message popped up saying basically i am not allowed in community creations because I am using another person's save data...NOW what do i do?

Sometimes it helps if you start from scratch, so far you did everything right. Delete the save game folder and redownload. rename the param.sfo from your Trivial Pursuit  to "template.sfo" and REPLACE the existing placeholder file. Start ResignUS.bat and copy the BLUS31277_SAVE on your usb stick in the PS3/SAVEDATA folder. Then start wwe2k14 (ofcourse on the same fresh created account) and it should work.

 

Then try your LOGOS.DAT file. Copy it into the BLUS31277_SAVE on your usb stick (and ofcourse restore the save again on your ps3)

Well everything was okay seemingly and then i ran into a problem i went to creations- logos and an error popped up saying custom logo data.damaged. so gameelite told me to go to community creations. I did and I ran into a problem trying to use/upload/etc custom tattoos/logos I got into community creations and it tells me i am not allowed to use community creations as i am using another users save game data. I looked it up and i am supposed to "resign" the save game data for my console. i downloaded brute force save data and i am at a loss as to how to use it. IDK what to do.

And what is replace existing place holder file mean?

there is a "template.sfo" file in the gamesave folder. simply delete it. it is only there to show you where you have to put your "template.sfo" file
