Fozy Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I'm going to judge all of you on your choices here and will explain why you're an idiot for picking incorrect choices. Also, if you want to know what the most dramatic performance in any media is, here is your answer; Quote
fufu ÷ Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Hana-bi is probably my favourite. Great, but quite sad story with plenty of moving and touching moments, as well as some really exciting ones too. Wonderfully paced to explore the relationships of the characters and their situation. Beautiful looking, and quite original too for it's time. The sound is outstanding too, from score to sound effects - everything is perfect. It just has everything i'd want in a drama. Quote
Zark Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Shawshank Redemption is probably my all time favourite movie. If you haven't watched it, what the hell are you doing? Go get it. Quote

Generic Answer 101. I was going to say no one is allowed to say this in the original post. I'll give you another shot at answering. Quote
Fozy Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Good answer. Quote

The Don Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) I agree with Lain. Now for my pick(s) that will most likely get him all riled up... It's a toss up between Lord of War and Any Given Sunday with Lord of War getting an ever so slight edge. I wish I could give an answer like "I'm a fan of Nic Cage and Ethan Hawke." but I'd be lying. Cage has never done much for me, he's okay but no one I see a movie for. Ethan Hawke is a good actor who I enjoy in pretty much everything I've seen him in... But that's not why. I can't relly tell you why, maybe it's the soundtrack or the opening or even the AK47 scene? I don't know. All I know is I love it and own three copies of it. When it comes to Any Given Sunday, I can say why I love it... The performances are spot on in my opinion. Pacino, Foxx and Diaz all play there parks remarkably well. Add in the supporting cast who all more than deliver, a serviceable to really good story, awesome soundtrack and (I'll admit) some nostalgia to back in the day and you have my second favorite movie of all time. Also, this speech is amazing... Edited August 6, 2014 by The Don Quote
BrotchMrToast Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Lord of War I don't believe you. Why is that? Quote
