Notable except (tranlated to English via Google Translate): Visual Concepts and Yuke's have fortunately not made changes to visual and audio aspects of the game pace and flow of the fighting was also reviewed in order to make them closer to what is possible to see in the WWE shows. As explained by the head of marketing at 2K, wrestling matches are not given duration and may well be very short very long. So the developers have made sure to introduce gameplay that makes unpredictable duration of the fighting. To provide a highly realistic gameplay, it explains a concept of "ring psychology" (ie how to behave during a wrestling match to make it the most exciting possible) has been integrated into the game Also according to him, the fighting styles will be better differentiated than in the past and each wrestler will appear to be unique. AgeofSandow Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 So maybe those old " no sell" animations and cruiser weight moves are back... Quote
Tamer™ Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I'm very happy about this, ring psychology and mannerisms of the wrestlers were always missing in these games. Quote
best in the world Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I have always wondered why THQ stopped evolving the fighting styles for the different categories of WWE Superstars. The first year they implemented it was cool but they generally stopped changing it until it stayed the same, so I am glad to see 2K are noticing the small details that make a big difference overall. I have to admit that the fighting styles were one of the few good things to come out of SVR2008, but it was overshadowed by pretty much everything else about that game sucking, especially the attribute point "packages" you had to buy, the fact that you could only build your CAWs' attributes by playing that hideous 24/7 mode. JTD827 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 This year's game really has the potential to be a great one! Quote

I completely forgot about that...just goes to show how hard I've been trying to forget SVR2008. Then again, I never said it was implemented well. Quote
