Why bother talking about Footloose then not use the music! another question is First Class in cannon with Guardians? just they talk about Kevin Bacon who was the baddie from First Class

No, different studios. Guardians is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it's canon with The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, etc. First Class and the rest of the X-Men films are Fox.

Just saw Guardians of the Galaxy for the second time, dope as hell! Definitely my favorite film of 2014.

Despite knowing next to nothing about the modern GotG, I liked it a whole lot more than I thought I was going to... Still I wished it was the original GotG, or at least more nods besides Yondu to the original team... I give it a 10/10...

 

I do agree about the lack of Footloose music, since the movie and Kevin Bacon was referenced.... It would have made more sense for that scene...

 

My only question is: When Peter Quill's batteries died for his Walkman, where did he get new one?!?
