Zark Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 And now look where he's heading... Hasn't really turned out the best for him has it? All for 1 trophy Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 It's not like the turkish league is total garbage also it turned out great for RVP he won the league which always outranks cup wins (minus champions league wins) and with 58 goals in 105 games he'll be remembered very fondly by United fans Quote
Aero Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Excluding injuries I'd say rvp had a fairly successful run at united. Don't think he'll be ranked as high at united as he was at arsenal (though obviously his position in arsenal folklore has lessened since joining united). But it was a short, successful enough run... With more wages in his pocket too! Quote
Aero Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I see begovic has decided to take up partial retirement! Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Poor move from him, granted it's join the champions with maybe some champions league game time but Begovic is in his prime why spend it on the bench? In United news De Gea should be on the plane to the states for the pre-season games so I think that's a strong indication he's staying for now Quote
Zark Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 (edited) New Arsenal away kit!You know why its gold Edited July 14, 2015 by Zark Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 That's not the confirmed shirts you mark Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Even if they were the confirmed United shirts they look a hell of a lot better then that golden sweater vest looking thing Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I know you have a very poor taste in general, your choice in football teams, your choice in wrestlers but my lord the arsenal shirt is an eye sore Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Robin Van Persie has officially left Manchester United, a bit of a sad end to his time at United but a fair few of his goals were important to United's season, such as the brace against Southampton and the goal against Chelsea, it's fair to say he'll be remembered very fondly by United fans and hopefully by some Arsenal fans since he did score so many goals for them Quote
Aero Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Zark the gold looks awful, the united kits are not confirmed and I have seen better looking ones rumoured! Uniteds biggest kit problem is the logo. Change it to just the text and it will look better! I'm also fairly sure that even if that is the final design, those are knock off versions and will look worse than the real thing! Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 TBF the away jersey looks fine and the home jersey would look fine without the white body designs Quote
Zark Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 The think the gold looks great tbh... The pattern ruins it but its fine and I know the United kits arent confirmed but there has been multiple pictures of they're the ones that been rumoured the most. Also Man City have announced the signing of Sterling.Wearing number 7. Quote
Aero Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 i'd put more money on that being the kit, mostly because that wee design at the bottom (that looks like a red undershirt in this pic) seems to be something adidas are rolling out this season! Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I feckin' hope so Aero that's a sexy shirt! Quote
Zark Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Tbh that does look pretty good... The big ass logo needs fixing though. Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 "Dear God please let us in the win the league, it's our year xxxxx Brenda" Quote
Aero Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 I feckin' hope so Aero that's a sexy shirt!Purely based on all the other major new kits from adidas that I'm right... though most clubs are going with a darker shade or colour along the bottom. This could well be another fake but I'd say its an accurate fake. Adidas rarely make special kits forfor domestic teams any more, just a few set designs with minor tweaks Checkout AC, Bayern and Cardiff's kits as an example of 3 kits, all with the the same basic design and minor tweaks (AC stripes, plain Bayern and horizontal design for the bluebirds) notice the sleaves and trims etc are the same basic design style Quote
