Bidders will be looking to add either Sunday evening or Friday evening games, with schedulers pushing for Friday nights... I'm all for that! The bad news? ITV are pushing for Prem highlights package again... MOTD is much better, don't you fuckers try and kill it again!! I have a further proposal... Someone, be it sky, BT or BBC etc should show a Saturday afternoon kick off!!!! The reason they don't is fear of a drop in actual ticket sales, but I have a suggestion for that! Don't reveal what game they will be showing until a few hours before the match... This would fit BBC's model the best as they don't exactly use advertising to the same degree as anyone else so won't feel they have to ruin the surprise every 15 mins, just a quick wee "3pm kick offs, only on the BBC... Champion's League is exactly the same in every country, only difference is the commentary team and half time analysis.
