Lambert isn't quick enough to press and then counter. Baloteli doesn't have the work rate. Borini is shit so he can't do it either. Although when Baloteli and Sturridge both played, it didn't seem too bad, but still, it's missing one very nibbly man.

Balo can stay much more forward when sturridge is there because he can do all the tracking back, get the ball to balo or create space, balo can then hold the ball up for sturridge or use the space provided. Lambert is then a great sub for when that style isn't working. Balo off, more crosses in to the box, sturridge creating space, boom
