I would like to actually have some sort of Story Mode

Season Mode with a rookie option.

I don't care for any type of story mode. My big thing is the Universe mode. I would care more for the story if it was like Smackdown vs Raw/HCTP where you get choices and stuff though. I like that kind of story.

Reliving the past is boring to me.

That's what I was thinking, with a touch of 06/07 and it's perfect.

If I would get 5 bucks every time this topic has been brought up, I would be rich.

Same here.  I don't think I've gotten halfway through either Attitude Era or 30YOWM.  Why would I want to play a video game version of Hogan/Andre or the WM16 main event when I can go watch the real thing, especially when I know the video game version's not going to play out the way it really happened?

I think 99% of the community want a season/My career mode in some way, shape or form in this years game.

Seconded.

The last couple of games have been lackluster in this department.

I don't really care that much about story modes. The Road To Wrestlemania stories on previous games were all really shitty stories. I can't remember a good story/season mode or something in the vein since 2007.

While I enjoyed attitude era mode it has no replay value. If they do something like that again then I think they should have a re-write history mode, for example if the re-write history mode was in attitude era you could of played as Rock at Wrestlemania 15 and retain.

Does anyone else want to see something a relive history mode with WCW in a future game?

No. Never ever. Ever. Never, ever, ever.

Keep Universe mode, but give us an NXT mode for CAWs or established NXT rookies. Bit like RtWM but more freedom and unpredictability like the Season modes from SvR 06/07.

Come on it wouldn't be that bad you could relive Hogan's heel turn at bash at the beach, you can play the wargames match against Savage, Flair, Luger and Sting it would be pretty cool.

No more god damn History lessons that is what the WWE Network is for lets focus on the Now part. I want an NXT style mode like Day of Recokoning story mode work your way up to the main roster.

Key word "relive", wanna know a great place to relive stuff? The WWE Network. Even better place? YouTube. Nostalgia had it's run and now it's time to look towards the future rather than clinging onto the past.

What about in six, eight years it could be good, and personally another reason why I like these relive history mode is that [raises shield] I don't have much to look forward to on the current roster and the characters we got from these modes give me something to like forward too apart from universe.

I'd only accept it just as long as the current doesn't take a backseat to them.
