Older Games Files in 2K14.

I was bored & messing around earlier tonight with some of the older games (SvR 2008) too see what i can use from them in 2K14. After finding the Selection Pics/Renders and trying them, i found  the they were to large in some spots so i tried different combinations and found if you use the SSFC pic (Smallest) in all three spots it works perfect (Screenshots below) I'm not sure if this will be helpful for anyone, but i thought i would let you guys know, just in case.

Open the menuhd file in xpacker

extract the SSFC file then open it the PACH option

uncompress the 1000

then open it with the pach option as well & extract all to a folder.

you will get a folder full of dds files.

0046 is Sabu, inject it into all 3 spots in your menuhd_dlc2 file or menuHD.

If you look at the file, you will think there is no damn way it will work but it does.

I'm not the greatest in the world at explaining things sometimes, but I gave it shot. If you need me too, will just upload the folder for you.

I just happen to have got a hold of a copy of 08 recently because of the ECW guys and was like I said screwing around earlier, now it looks like I have to go find copies of the others. The joys of boredom, you do things you never would have thought of before lol.

The 08 Sabu render looks pretty neat, how does it look compared to a normal in game render?

I dunno why people haven't been using them instead of looking on the internet for clear pics of people.

The renders from older games look more like a cartoon than an actual picture of the wrestler but they are better than no render at all

This is just an example, some match up better than others & Rooster is right. Using these are better than nothing & imo look better than some i have seen.

This is a pretty useful discovery actually - particularly if you like all your renders to have that same soft-focus style

If I get time I may rip all the renders from SVR2007-2011 for people. Like yourself though Zhigge I'm in the process of moving so time is little at the moment for myself.

They look good to me. Especially when some people try using older pics and they just turn out bad.
