Heel.Garciaa Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 What improvements would you like to see added to Universe Mode in the upcoming game? Quote
bluemonkeymagic Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 More championship options e.g switch the divas to cruiserweight 3 brands on a ppv Set managers for each wrestler Stop the constant heel vs heel and face vs face booking 1 Quote
ItzTheRampage Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 In WWE 13 they told us that there are cutscenes where you can choose what you wanna do they should implement them in 2k15 again because there were non in 13 and 2k14 Quote
McLeod Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I want it to feel more like booking as in make the tag team separate that match, placing an interference at a specific point in the match, make it end in DQ, etc. Quote
Zero. Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 i want to be able to be a gm of watever brand and wat they said above me Quote
Blackbird 13 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 A few quick points: * Tertiary Championships should replace the "Diva's Title" slot. That belt should be able to be whatever we want it to be. * Improved cutscenes, with text-based storylines. * Ability to assign a GM to a brand (Eric Bischoff to WCW.. Vickie Guerrerro to Smackdown, whatever you want to do..) ... those three things would help quite a bit with Universe mode. Quote
Thedeadmanrising Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 -PPV any time of the week... - Having the ability to have a cinematic to happen in every match if you want to. 1 Quote
best in the world Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 First and foremost, no more freezing glitches or bugs! The ability to customize everything about a show Smart feuds/stables that automatically detect your settings and don't put you against allies or have you team up with enemies Last but not least, branching storylines which means the ability to make variations of stories and having different consequences/outcomes based on key decisions. 1 Quote
thejim Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 All Championship slots be gender neutral Allow up to 5 championships per show (major, minor, tag-team, plus 2 custom/ optional slots) Allow Superstars/ Divas to be on 2 rosters (Example: Cesaro on Raw and NXT, but his home roster is Raw) Fix the "red" Monday glitch hen using custom logos as show logos New championships: 6 man tag and mixed tag-team Assign mangers to Superstars and Divas 1 Quote
kidsampson Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I have two opinions. In one sense, I see promise in an experience without interfaces where relationships are dynamic based on user actions and storylines organically develop in the background. In this scenario, the game would function more like a sandbox game without user prompts such as we see in games like the Walking Dead. The player just acts and the world dynamically responds to those actions. But I'm afraid that 2K is not yet ready to do this due to the random nature and illogical sequences and repetition evident in previous games. But it would be cool to see such a system implemented. Players would have "memories" where their AI is always evolving. Announcers would remember and mention significant events related to past rivalries or what happened at a specific arena. The Universe would be a living, breathing, dynamic world. The player would get a sense that they are part of this environment and have influence over what happens. They also would experience frustration over things they cannot influence. ("I want a title shot, NOW!" when Triple H says, "sorry, but that's not best for business." The player then can fall in line and wait his turn or he can go Stone Cold, break bad, and try to hand Triple H his ass. Of course, doing that means next week, The Authority is going to make sure all hell breaks loose.) Another option, which may be less immersive, is to allow players to earn, hold, an unlock what I will call triggers. This Universe system would function like an RPG where you strategically earn and deploy resources. Maybe Daniel Bryan is outnumbered and you come to his aid. He thanks you and says that he owes you one and has your back. A few weeks down the line, you find yourself in a handicap match and need to call on that favor. You may have equipped a card that you can activate mid-match, calling out Bryan to even the score. If you've been an ass in the locker room up until this point and alienated yourself from others, you may not have any cards. In this case, you're on your own and need to take the beating that's coming to you. This system would involve managing relationships, balancing character, playing the politics game, etc. in order to be successful. Quote

Every year i try to recreate stories of the past be it wcw or current wwe but run into roadblocks such as macho winning a match and nikki bella showing up out of the blue (although set to inactive) and walking with macho out of the ring. Stuff like that really needs to stop happening. Another issue happened in 12. I was trying to do the cena/rock match back then, and every time i got to mania, cutscene where cena came out, would bring in zack ryder as a replacement. Things like this have annoyed me since svr11. Quote
Tevin Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Be able to make your own #1 contenders matches Make handicap rivalries. Have more than 3 rivalries. Power rankings. Faces vs heels automatically unless a face vs face or heel vs heel is in a feud or you set up the match like that. Actually be able to use the allies/enemies. More actions in matches than the usual attack before match, attack after match. Quote
HiiiPoWeR14 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I was thinking to merge WWE Universe and GM mode times 10! -GM mode: you can choose a preset brand like raw, smackdown, NXT, or your own brand and choose from old and new general mangers or make a CAW. The way this goes is that you have an agent who finds talent for you such as the nxt superstars that are put on the game this year or CAWs that's already made. Along with that, the GM can book matches, PPV cards, book storylines and rivalries (such as WWE SvR 2006-2008). An addition to this the GM has roaming access to go to the training room, looker room, and all backstage like in SvR 2011. -Manager Mode: Live the life of a manager with multiple clients such as Paul Heyman. If needed services of a wrestler (created or diva) they come and manage and become an advocate. Enough to manage a faction, they handle the business of the wrestler. The managers could be any legend such as Bobby Heenan, Mr Fuji, Ric Flair, Ect. Plus a CAW. Quote
