I hope they finally update create-a-move

I don't think this function has been changed one bit ever since introducing it outside adding in high fly and top rope finishers. My god this function's so botched up it takes away from the fun of creating moves.

 

I know it's a long shot, but is it so much to hope 2k decided to have Visual Concepts update this? All I ask for is the following:

 

1) The finishers do damage like actual finishers.

 

2) Top rope and high fly moves have impact. Do you know how utterly stupid it looks like to see someone reacting more to a standing RKO than a 3rd rope one? Yeah cause that's how it works. Hey anyone remember when Brock Lesnar did a standing vertical suplex on Big Show and broke then ring while their rope suplex had them landing like pillows? Well that's what create-a-move seems to think.

 

3) Don't restrict animations! OMG I cannot believe how hair pulling it is to try and create just a normal stunner or a reverse DDT because the game would only allow you access to those animations if you do some stupid hold first.

Good points.  Especially with created finishers not doing the same amount of damage as regular finishers more often during online matches.  I get frustrated with hitting like upwards of 5 or 6 created finishers and the opponent online still kicks out at 1 or 2.  Also, they need more positions for different variations of moves because it is still relatively limited.  One thing I would like to see brought back is the created taunt feature that the early Smack Down games had, which was both corny and cool at the same time.

CAF needs to be broken down to the core and completely rebuilt.

Man, someone else actually remembers this.  I LOVED Create-a-Taunt.  To this day, I can't figure out why it was ever removed...probably to make room for all that awesome commentary and wrestler voice work in SvR.  :/

@M42Productions:  I had a blast in the older SD games just messing around with the CAT feature.  Although removing it might have been viewed as necessary at the time, I can't understand why any moves/entrances/features are removed in any newer game.  Why not keep adding content so that each game eclipses what the previous year's game had?  That would be nice.

I remember create a taunt too, i made a few of them, i made a HBK Tune up the band taunt, scott hall (the arms olut walking taunt) and the taunt he does b4 the outsiders edge lol

@jeffsdomain:  The biggest majority of my created taunts were WCW related and more specifically Scott Hall's stuff.  I like how the older games had exact preset creation parts that were made for specific past stars[or current at the time the game came out].  I remembered that SD & SD2:KYR both had Hall's exact blood drip vest/trunks in the CAW and other WWF stars that were left out had preset face & body parts included and all you had to do was match it together.  Creating those left out didn't take long, which was a cool feature.  I hope 2K actually goes back and looks at the entire SD series and uses it in their "superstar heads" section of 2K15 or any future games.
