We can't see who views our profiles or see what other people are doing because we assume people are using that as a way to stalk, we simply can't say who we like...yet we can cuss like sailors and still have Pete around. If you say something stupid, you've signed up. Make a stupid username, that's a sign up. Like something I don't like, signed up. The system hasn't let me down yet, I've never been banned or suspended. I don't think I'd ever list my least favourite members, or destroy a poor 14 year old boy's psyche on purpose though. Cyber bullying is a major issue, anonymity and an audience is a dangerous combination, so administration and moderation are important enforcement tools. Doing Minority Report'esque deletion of problems before they've even eventuated though is not policing, it's silencing. Sometimes a visible presence is all that needed to keep things on the straight and narrow, a mod or admin letting people know the topic is being watched and anyone that crosses the line will be banned. Or just delete shit and piss people off, either way really. Quote

I can't remember who is was but they asked for the member to be banned because they thought they were being stalked. Is that the reason why the feature was taken away. Not at all.
