i was pretty much checking google to see why macho left wcw in 99 and on his wikipedia page (i know anyone can add stuff) it states the following:

Video games[edit]

He appeared in WWF WrestleMania, WWF WrestleMania Challenge, WWF Superstars, WWE All Stars, as a DLC in WWE 12, as an unlockable character in WWE 2K14 , and as an unlockable character in WWE 2K15.

Fake wiki.

yeah just thought i'd post it anyway LOL i was already taking it with a grain of salt but never know since technically he is no longer on bad terms with wwe and has been in 2 wwe games so you never know lol

Even if the wiki/google entry was incorrect, I'd say it's a safe bet that Macho Man will be in 2K15.  Especially if they use 30 Years of WrestleMania again for the mode theme.

i honestly don't want another 30 years of wrestlemania again.. then again this could halfway confirm wcw mode although goldberg is rumored to not be in

No More history lessons please. I don't mind including Legends for Older fans but stop half assing universe for the boring nostalgia modes.

should be in, as he's one of the greatest wrestlers to exist. and let's not make another argument here, as both sides have been exhausted at this point.

Im a huge Legend fan but I have to agree with this, the only reason I liked 30YoWM was because it finally gave me a roster full of Legends, the actual game mode was the typical "play it once and never look at it again".

Universe is the meat of the game and the majority of the development should be put into that mode.

I understand that people want the most comprehensive current roster possible and I agree with that (even though I dont use any of them) but there needs to be a extensive Legend roster for us old bastards too.

Indeed. Give us all the current guys, a healthy dose of 80s legends, all the people you can get from the Monday Night War era, and maybe even some NXT guys, and then make Universe mode better.

A surefire way to make the game awesome.

That's how you satisfy everyone.

This.

But wasn't it rumoured another dedicated 'legends' title was being developed alongside 2k15?

@jeffsdomain:  It'd be better if 2K did a WCW Mode since the biggest portion of "legends" are usually past WWF guys.  People keep saying "no history lessons" but honestly, history is better than current stuff.  Especially coming from the whole WCW vs. WWF era.

Universe Mode, focus. No need to waste time on another mode if you can make it really good.

ugh if we keep revisiting history with these games its gonna get boring just screw nostalgia modes that are only good for 1 playthrough and focus focus focus on Universe. People who are stuck in the past will never let the future progress.

I completely despise the History Lesson modes.  BUT, you can't blame that mode for Universe being half-assed, simply because those History Lesson modes are half-assed Story Modes.  Universe isn't the "meat of the game".  The "meat of the game" is and always has been it's Story Modes, formerly Season Modes.  For the last 6 years we've been getting RTWM, which I've disliked, and more recently, Attitude Era/30 Years, which I absolutely hate.

Since the original Smackdown vs. RAW, WWE games has always had it's 2 core game modes.  It's Story Modes, and it's "GM/Universe" modes(SvR had "Create-A-PPV, SvR 09 had a shitty Career Mode, 2010 only offered RTWM).  Simply enough put, RTWM/Era Modes replaced Season Modes.  Universe replaced GM modes.   There's no need for them to put more focus on one than the other.  These games should be able to have more than one good game mode.  IMO These Era Modes are sorry excuses for a story mode, and Universe is a sorry excuse for a supporting mode.  They're both half-assed if you ask me.  Makes me happy that we have new developers and publishers because both Era and Universe were ideas from a dying company that was losing money, time, and most importantly, effort.

Regardless of the debate of whether he should be in the game or not, purely from a technical standpoint wouldn't it be difficult for them to include people who aren't available for facial scanning?

Yea they'd have to do them the old school way which they said takes up to 3-4 days.

If they intend to scan then my guess is they'll have some sort of personal use game face technology to use off of pictures taken of the deceased wrestler's faces.

These games didn't have the power for a Universe mode that you could do anything in... next-gens can really make something out of it.

thing is, when it comes to savage with me. I don't really care about his wwe stuff at all.  I know he was more popular and all but i just felt his stuff from 94-00 (didn't know he was involved with the new blood/millionaires angle till yesterday) was good. Only thing in wcw i think i hated was his feud with rodman and i really felt that was just stupid

I didn't like how he got really big in WCW. preferred him as his WWF look

@jeffsdomain: I am with you on Mach.  His NWO/WCW body of work was much better than his WWF material, even though his WWF work was great too.  He had great matches and cool moments in WCW and seemed much edgier.
