Yep, another Transformers movie...Yep, my head is saying not to go, it'll be utter **** like all the others (minus the first).Yep, my heart says, don't go, it'll be a depressing, soul-destroying experience from my youth...However a voice from somewhere is saying it has giant robots, Optimus Prime & Dinobots - how can that NOT be brilliant! That same voice, just purchased the Blu-ray set. (I need to get out more). Edited July 1, 2014 by MKC318403 Quote

That actually was in the original cartoon show, I believe. You know, to satisfy all those butthurt "DIS IS NAT LIK DA ORIGINAL" fans. I mean, they still won't be satisfied, but atleast he tries, doesn't he? Edited July 1, 2014 by BrotchMrToast™ Quote

I thought they were going for 'realism' with these movies. I can sort of buy into giant sentient robots from space, but giant sentient robot dinosaurs was always a little too far for me. Quote

Yeah, I agree. Besides, I never really could take the movies seriously. The whole concept of Transformers screams "KIDS SHOW" imo. Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 (edited) For starters Optimus never was riding a dinosaur robot in the original series, the Dinobots were individual transformsers... You will never beat the 1980's Transformers the movie at all... Edited July 1, 2014 by UndertakerWLF 1 Quote

Not to sound like a prick, but the majority of movies in the '80s had better stories and plot development as opposed to today. Quote
Fozy Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Not true. There was just as many shite films as there are today. Quote

I think in one of the trailers, there's a clip of the Dino-Bot actually transforming into a huge Transformer. Quote
