Jim Ross confirms Sting is in wwe2k15

I was listing to Steve Austin's thursday Podcast and he was talking to JR and JR was talking about how he is having sting on his podcast later. When talking about sting JR said "Sting is gonna be in the new 2k15 video game", Then austin said Sting will stick out as a sore thumb in 2k15.

Yeah, that is just confirmation of the speculation we've already expected.  It's awesome that 2K15 will be the first WWE game that features Sting in it.  WCW Mode?  I know, wishful thinking.....

When Austin says he sticks out like a sore thumb, he prob means there won't be many WCW guys. I wonder if they're going for ECW or early RA era though with Heynan doing mocap.

yeah a WCW or ECW theme would be cool esp the ECW part more extreme version but either way have current WWE superstars and former WCW/ECW stars on there. but i have a feeling it might b NXT themed

This makes me excited. I don't mind having Sting in as a legend, since he was active recently. Not to mention him "sticking out like a sore thumb" is great for my want of more current roster wrestlers. Although, if they could add the current wrestlers and keep the legends from 2k14, I wouldn't mind that at all, but I doubt that is a possibility.

I think WCW vs WWE Game Mode.. or only WCW. But something with WCW is in. Because Anderson, Steamboat, Vader, Hogan, Steiners, Warriors, Loger, Flair, Golderg and now Sting can be all in with no poblems.

I'd hate it if there was a WCW Mode, nostalgia trips have become a more negative impact to me than most of the glitches. We need a career mode, I and a lot of people are sick of having to "relive" stuff when we want something new and fresh brought to the table.

i don't mind that, but if they made vader's ai like wwe12 or 13 i wouldn't want him in the game, he always just seemed to run at people the entire match.  That was annoyin.   Also the only stiff person i really thought was in wcw (at the time between 96 and 99) was probably goldberg and manybe psychosis with his heel kicks

not everyone watches NXT or likes the thought of svr2007 type career/season modes again.. I honestly wouldn't put anythin in there if i was making the game i would just make universe the main focus and make story designer the secondary focus.  That would have left room to improve everythin on a greater scale.  But i respect people's wishes for a career mode just like i would think you would respect my and Bestintheworld's wishes for a WCW Mode.  I mean come on, if it gets us the arenas and logos and more moves, i'm all for it

I'm sure if those people who don't watch NXT actually took a look at what those new guys have to bring to the scene, they'd be hooked. And how could you not like the idea of a career mode? The possibilities of all the storylines that could be done are endless, whereas in the WCW mode you'd be faced with all of Russo's unnecessary swerves plus half the roster joining nWo. Now who's going to want to play that? I know I wouldn't.

yeah my problem is i just can't watch nxt bc my cable sucks and i don't have a internet service like verizon comcast etc.. i have that darn netzero limited 12 gigs per month mess lol.  and as far as a career mode goes, i guess i'm still having nightmares of 09/10's career mode LOL or even svr2008.  and if there was a wcw mode russo wouldn't even be involved... russo came to wcw mid 99 which would have pretty much been the end of the MNW's.  if we get a wcw mode i would want it from sept 95 to maybe around starrcade 98. I think the night nash ended goldberg's career would be decent enough to end it. Plus we're not talking every single match from 95 - 98 but just a good substantial amount of matches and story arcs.  there were some good ones, unfortunately nwo over shadowed alot of them lol

yeah i liked those story modes and yeah i see where you're comin from the career mode was horrible but i too loved svr2010 everything was perfect.  If we had the game from 2010 with the added features of say 2k14 and universe i think it would really be a good game.  and yeah i've never gotten a corrupt save in anything except from hitman absolution and yeah that suck havin to do all that over.  So i totally understand where you're coming from.
