Universe Ideas?

I've been playing through my universes and usually after I get past one or two PPVs I get bored with it. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for a theme of a Universe, maybe like an era or specific rosters. Any help would be nice.

You could try doing a roster of custom wrestlers? I think its better to experiment with created wrestlers

I'm doing three different ones ATM, so you can do more than just one. Possibly a Ruthless Aggression or Indy universe.

I pretty much just do whats going on currently in WWE... Example I'm coming up to the MITB PPV and Seth Rollins/Dean Ambrose has a Rivalry

I've done both modern WWE and custom superstars, I don't think I'm getting far because I can't really make wrestling stories from scratch and the modern WWE idea got pretty far and then I jut dropped off when I got bored of today's WWE after Payback. I'm a bit skeptical of Ruthless Agression as I really wasn't watching WWE around that time. I've only really watched modern stuff and Attitude Era.
