best in the world Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I like the idea of being able to fully customize hair & beard styles. By that, I mean every detail whether it be simple like RVD's ponytail/side & back under cut hairstyle or something more complex. You should be able to use different fades & tapers with the ability to mix and match existing styles with other styles added in later. With beards, it should be easy to choose which length or transparency you want by using preset defaults already in-game or imported custom styles. The ability to fully customize everything should be available so that using multiple textures just to make simple hairstyles is no longer necessary and so that those layers can be used for other clothing details. KYR and JBI had a good base for this idea. Perfect? No way(those games have not aged well in the looks department,) but if they built upon that at least, it would not be as lame as it is nowadays. If 2K does revamp their entire graphics setup, they need to consider updating the hair textures/templates that are already in-game and adding many more modifying options. Stuff that would make it easier to customize every aspect of the appearance. This would also work well with the face & body morphing system too and simplify how to use them. Make every detail in appearance custom that way you can modify how each individual looks in regards to age & morphing without having to use complicated numeral morphing which is too much. Instead, 2K could make it so that every detail in the face and body are preset templates that vary in aging or appearance and a simple modification is used to detail your CAW to look like anyone you could conceivably make. They could even use elements of this that were good in other past titles..... 1 Quote
