LordBarker Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Hi all, I'm real-time modding on the PS3 and have been using the original catalog DLC from Tekken's CDLC pack 1. However with the release of Bugsy's DLC I'm going to soon be out of slots in the catalog DLC file, since there are only 22 slots. I tried using Roosters Catalog file from here And changed all the entries to match my current settings, however when I copy this catalog file across, it keeps some of my DLC but removes others. In this instance do I need to update the arc files? As I wasn't sure if it was the same method as the 360, since modding with PS3 doesn't use the save. Cheers Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 It looks like the superstar slots may be conflicting. For example you have ch131 CM Punk and he has a slot of 106 You also have ch456 Ultimate Warrior and you have given him slot 106 Warrior will overwrite CM Punk. I would go through your entries when real time modding and check the slots out. Quote
LordBarker Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 I'll have a look through cheers - sorry where did you get my slot entries from, didn't post any. Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 I'm pretty sure they will be in the block that you add your dlc, however I do not know where or what values they would be. Tekken may know more. Quote
LordBarker Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 Ok mate. To clarify it's an odd problem - if I leave the DLC content ID value at 1 the ps3 tries to reinstall the game data on boot. If I change the DLC Content ID value to 50 the game boots but doesn't have all of my DLC. I haven't updated the arc and wonder of that's an issue? Quote
LordBarker Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 It doesn't appear to be any slot conflict, double-checked. Should I let the game reinstall the data? Not sure why it would want to do this. Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Sorry not slot, menu sort numer, each superstar will have a menu sort number allocated to them to determine where they appear in the superstar select menu. Quote
LordBarker Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 Yeah, sorry I wasn't clear, I checked those. I just tried altering the content id too Quote
LordBarker Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 Kim and I don't seem to be able to find the solution for this. we've tried tinkering about with Tekkens catalog dlc 3 file from CDLC 4 in a hex editor but perhaps need some help from Tekken editing the catalog. Quote
kim666 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 The titantrons of the official DLC wrestlers are listed in the catalog.dlc file. But on 360 they are .bik2 files and on PS3 we have .bik files. In the catalog.dlc file from dlc2 are no titantrons listed. But in all the other catalog.dlc files (dlc3-5). We tried to rename .bik2 to .bik via hex but it did not work. Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Along with other projects I'm going to see if I can get this working for you, LordBarker has kindly sent me some info to give me a head start I will start looking at it tonight. Quote
LordBarker Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) Cheers dude, much appreciated! I think I sent you the original DLC2 catalog Undertaker, Kim and I did some work on the DLC 3 catalog. TBH either working would probably be enough slots! If you'd like me to send over Kim's trial I have it, as well as my own original if needed. Basically the more slots the better would be nice, haha. Regarding DLC Catalog 3. I also found the end of the previous character in the hex- Scott Hall I think!? And added the extra entires: Bagwell etc. just before the trons in my original PS3 DLC3 catalog file, and still no luck. Edited June 8, 2014 by LordBarker Quote
kim666 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 The PS3 accepts only catalog.dlc files wth 20 or less dlc slots. So here is a file for dlc3 http://www.sendspace.com/file/uky20p it comes with 20 slots. Replace the catalog.dlc file in "/dev_hdd0/game/BLES01937/USRDIR/catalog003/info" with this one. Quote
LordBarker Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) Thanks, this worked great For some reason now I can't change the height of wrestler's modded into this file - for example I can change Zeus' height values in CCAPI and it makes no difference in game, very odd. Especially since it's able to be changed when directed to DLC Catalog 2!? Oh well, it's only a minor issue, thanks so much for this Edited June 10, 2014 by LordBarker Quote
