How to edit normal.dds

Its the same as the color.dds, the normal .dds you can find in the 000A instead of 000C for the color.dds.

When you open it with Photoshop you will see on the right bottom side the channels - RGB, red, green, blue and Alpha 1.

The Black one (Alpha 1) is for the shine on the texture so for Cenas costum tshirt you must do this black otherwise it shine throw ingame.

You only must edit the RGB and Alpha channel. And you need some Photoshop skills

Thanks, when I open normal.dds with photoshop I cant find RGB, red, green, blue channels.

When its open, just copy over the blue/purple texture in a new file then edit it.

 

Then, re-open the normal.dds and go to channels and click on Alpha 1, do the same as above (Copy that into a new file and edit).

 

When you have done editing, copy the edited Alpha over the old one, and copy the new blue/purple texture over the old one and save.
