Possible Hint That NXT Talent Will Be Available in WWE 2K15?

Thanks to Geoff for sending in the following live notes from last night's WWE NXT Takeover special:

I attended NXT Takeover last night and what a show it was. The crowd was hot all night and the pace of the show for the live audience was well done (something I find lacking from today's WWE main programs).

With regards to WWE 2K15, there has been a rumor that NXT may be featured heavily in the game this October, with a new career mode allowing users to start off in NXT and advance up to WWE's main roster.

Last night there was a very heavy dose of 2K15 advertising around the Full Sail facility and some adverts had "WWE 2K15" written in the NXT colors (the main 2K logo has never been yellow and black, and those colors are not reflected in the official logo 2K displays on its Twitter account).

The last time I attended a show and one product was so heavily featured it was the WWE Network, which obviously started off with an NXT live show as it's feature presentation.

why not? It would be better if we actually had a choice of what gender we played as instead of forced to play as a superstar all the time.

read the OP, a career mode for a NXT Star (diva OR superstar) so it wont be a real life superstar, it'll be a custom so the story wont be effected by whats on TV.

Really NXT roster please no, they should be added as an DLC option or just when they debut onto the main RAW Roster like The Wyatt Family did, Rusevu and Cesaro and Bo Dallas. Carrer mode should use a custom charcter that you create like in DOR who starts off from NXT etc.

 

2k15 needs the 2k14 legends roster with improved moveset.

DLC the NXT talent because I don't want them in my game, or DLC us the 30 years of Wrestlemania Legends Pack, either way the current NXT fans will be happy or the legends/attitude era fans will be happy.

 

Everyone makes CAWS of all the NXT talent anyway and the majority of them fail when the arrive on the main roster, apart from Paige, Cesaro, Wade, Wyatts, Shield .

Thank you! I didn't even know who Virgil was until 2K14, nor did I even give a shit. I'm sick of these double models clusterfuck rosters we're getting because of guys like BEAST987 wanting to relive their precious past matches, go on to the WWE Network watch them then never come back, they've taken up 2 games with the attitude era, now I'm guessing they want The Golden Era? If we are just going on personal preference, I'd rather see a WCW Mode which focuses on the WCW side of things during the Monday Night Wars.  Or even Ruthless Aggression Mode.  Both would be better in my view than NXT.  NXT is okay but shouldn't be the focal point of a mode in WWE2K15.  That'd be too similar to what they did in WWE '12 with Jacob Cass or what they did in the Gamecube Day Of Reckoning series with created stars rising through the ranks.  They need to do something unique and NXT isn't really unique......
