Ollie™ Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I know this might be a bit too personal for some ST users but I thought it would be nicer if we got to know our fellow members and offered reassurance to them. Sometimes it can feel like the whole world is waiting to eat you whole and I'd like it if as a community we offered guidance and consolation to our friends and acquaintances. I'll go first: my biggest fear is not having people like me. I want to be perfect, I want everyone to think of me as a good person, have no problems with me and see me for me. As a perfectionist and a victim of constant bullying it's understandable for me to want this, but as I progress and mature I'm learning that a goal like that is pointless, intangible and just moronic. I'm coming to terms with who I am and realising that not everyone has to like me in order to succeed and excel in the things I want to do. Hope someone replies soon so we can get the wheels turning. Some things I fear: - Not being able to achieve an important goal of mine(Cannot Discuss this goal, a bit private) - Failing to protect my loved ones - Being forced to do something I'll regret for the rest of my life Those are somethings I fear. If Im hanging outside, I am easily distracted if its nearby. I hate the idea of having the shit with you everywhere you go and tracking it around. Nobody cleans up afte their anmials or themselves here. Pretty sure I've seen human shit in a subway once. Other than that: Going to Prison Catching an STD from a girlfriend/wife/whatever Drowning (I really cant swim. Not really a fear, but I hate offending or hurting anyone's feelings. I'd rather be as nice as I can be and dodge telling someone, if I either don't like them or that I don't like a certain trait than offend them. Even when someone dressed up as him on halloween and jumped out of a bush to scare me i screamed and started attacking him then he kicked me back and said "what the fuck!?"
