best in the world Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 After downloading better arenas online and even trying to do a great many of them myself, I see a lot of areas for improvements in the Create-An-Arena for 2k15. First and foremost is using more actual arena templates. WWE has the rights to all NWA, WCW, ECW, WCCW, and all WWF arenas to use as likenesses in their video games. One of the biggest complaints I have in regards to arenas is that 2K/THQ keep removing relevant ones that are vital to in-game play. They had the actual WCW Nitro arena in both Smackdown Vs. RAW 2011 and WWE '12. Why take that out?! Most old school fans will use a good section of their roster of CAW slots for WCW or ECW. So why remove those arenas? Now if 2K won't use these arenas as unlockables, why not use them as templates and put the logos in so that you can piece those missing arenas together? Also, every section of the arena should be customizable. By that, I mean everything in the arena being created. You should be able to position the tron, announce table, and ring wherever you want. You should be able to change the size of the tron on each individual arena and change positioning of the announce table to fit whatever arena you are making. IE. Nitro and ECW both had announce tables in different positions than WWE currently does. Why not make that detail custom? Aside from adding WCW and ECW arena templates, they should include each single part that made that arena unique into the arena logos section and similarly add apron logos, turnbuckle logos, announce table logos, etc. that all specifically make an arena stand out and unmistakable. NO MORE APRON GLITCHES!!! 2K should take the time to make sure all of this works so that when you upload these creations to CC that the logos will actually save, remain in your list, and function properly online. I have spent more time in CAA than I have in CAW and hopefully 2K will expand on the custom options to make this part of creation suite better and more refined. Anyone else have any ideas on how to make this feature better? Quote
SassySlothh Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I think we should get more custom arenas too. At least 30 different arenas in total. Quote

best in the world Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 I am hoping that they eventually have more arena slots as well. Put in every past and present arena and make it possible to use any arena that has ever been used.... Quote

best in the world Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 (edited) I totally agree jeff! 2K royally pissed me off when they took out the WCW arenas. They obviously will never use the WCW tape library[except on the network or DVD releases] and there will never be another WCW brand. But how the hell was it considered a good idea to take out the WCW arenas? I also would like to see what 2K could do with certain WCW sets like WCW Thunder or WCW Saturday Night if they ever used a WCW mode. Since THQ did Attitude Era mode in WWE '13, I'd love to see a WCW side of things with WCW Mode and getting those arenas would be epic! Or at the very least 2K can give us the sets and logos to piece together all the WCW sets. They should also do the same with ECW as well...... Edited May 29, 2014 by best in the world Quote
twiggadoodledoo Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I really wanna see some major improvements in the CAA , its the one mode I use the most but in 2k14 it sucked pubic hair ! I can't imagine they will do much here though as they will probably spend much more time on other areas of the game. Quote
best in the world Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 Create-An-Arena is one of my favorite parts of the current creation suite and I feel that it has evolved from its first appearance in WWE '12. They have progressively added more options but they should make every detail customizable so that any conceivable design could be used for any arena template. Sorry, it just doesn't feel right to have WCW Monday Nitro with the announce table in the wrong spot where current WWE announce tables are positioned. 2K should work on giving us even more ways to use our creativity to make CAA our own.... I blame thq... since it was done in wwe13 not 2k14.. so yeah it's thq's fault... but yeah I would love those arenas back especially since i'm one of the few that does wcw every year lol Quote
twiggadoodledoo Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 If were lucky, we might get a WCW mode in the game anyway, which could open up a lot of new arenas to edit / create in CAA Quote

best in the world Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 Yeah, Jeff I am one of those who does an extensive WCW every year in each game. The biggest majority of my CAWs and arenas are WCW and it was one of the major reasons I got season pass this year was so that I could get all the NWO content. I'd like to see how 2K could do a WCW mode. The unlockables for that mode would be awesome whether it would be the WCW superstars or the extra arenas. Nitro has been on a few WWE games but I'd love to see how well they could do the lesser shows especially WCW Thunder/Saturday Night. If they ever did a WCW mode, their DLC packs could include every WCW arena from early 90s all the way up until 2001. And the stars not included could have their moves included in DLC packs. I am honestly surprised that this hasn't been considered before and that would have been preferable in WWE '12 instead of that Jacob Cass/WCW crap we got instead...... Quote

best in the world Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 @iamthedoctor: What I was proposing is to have all arena logos, arena parts, and everything from past arenas like WCW Nitro included in CAA. That would mean including the doorway template, the big metal WCW side bars at the door, and everything from the set itself included as preset parts to piece together. Besides, they had the actual accurate WCW Nitro set as DLC in Smackdown Vs. RAW 2011 why not include that template? Quote

best in the world Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 I bet 2K goes with NXT story mode this year since NXT is all over WWE TV and on WWE Network. But still, I would like to see a lot more WCW content included in creation suite whether it be more parts for the WCW stars in CAW or more arena parts in CAA. The biggest majority of my created content is WCW and ECW so maybe 2K can find ways to add those part into creation suite..... Quote

best in the world Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Me, personally, I don't believe Sting will sign unless he knows he could have a match with Taker @ WM 31. That's the whole reason he was even gonna sign with WWE to begin with. If Taker retires because of his health, I'm doubting Sting will ever sign with WWE. Just judging by how WWE booked Lesnar/Taker, no wonder. No story, no physical interaction, no real reason for The Streak to end. I am not confident in WWE at all anymore..... Quote

best in the world Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 None of the major dirt sheet sites have reported Sting's official signing to WWE. If he had signed a WWE contract, it would have been all over the net. I'm sure Sting is probably getting paid on a per appearance deal until he signs an official contract, if he ever does. He has expressed concerns about not being used right in WWE as reasons not to sign with them before...... Quote

Wrestlemania isnt even till next year. Quote
the King Lives Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 @Iamthedoctor that Sting/warrior documentary was totally different that was just cause he wanted to make peace with the warrior since they did start out togehter... trust me he's not signed... When that happens, i think the Gates of Heaven and Hell will open up LOL Quote
