LastRide123 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Is Batistas spinebuster still in this game? I know it was in last year though but i dont remember what it was called. It isnt one of the 100 spinebusters that resemble Triple Hs. Quote
BrotchMrToast Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I believe it was Spinebuster 7. Spinebuster 12 (The Rocks) would also fit him pretty much. I personally gave him Rybacks comeback, and as his signatures I gave him "Striking Spear" and "Beast Bite" so I can put the Spinebuster in his groggy grapples, as he doesn't really use the Spinebuster as a special move anymore. It was like the first move he used in that match. Also, since he returned he doesn't do alot of moves that are in his move-set. He didn't use the Two - handed Chokeslam, the Vertical Suplex Powerslam, the Rolling Fireman's carry and probably more. Good look creating his move-set without those moves. best in the world Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Yes, Batista's spinebuster is still in the game. But it is DLC content and one of the downloaded moves. It is called "Divo Drop". It is Batista's exact spinebuster and he still uses it in all of his matches. I can't believe people still give him the Beast Bite because he rarely uses it and uses the spinebuster much more often...... Quote

And its not DLC either. Quote
best in the world Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Unless it's a glitch[entirely possible], under the moves section it lists "Divo Drop" as "downloaded". I was assuming it meant it was one of the DLC moves. I never have watched Aksana matches so I didn't know that was her finisher. But it does look the closest to Batista's spinebuster no doubt.... best in the world Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 For me, the Divo Drop looks a hell of a lot more accurate to Batista's spinebuster than the 2K default which looked more like Arn Anderson's version or HHH's. To each his/her own but the little details are what make the big differences to me.... Quote
The 4th Doctor Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Divo Drop looks nothing like Batista's Spinebuster its too diva like. Spinebuster 7 is the best for Batista Quote
best in the world Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Like I said, to each their own. To me, the Divo Drop looks a hell of a lot more like big Dave's spinebuster than the others which look like different variations of the Double A or HHH spinebusters. Quite simply, 2K got lazy not including Batista's accurate spinebuster to begin with..... Quote

To each his/her own but the little details are what make the big differences to me.... actually, spinebuster 7 is/was always batista's spinebuster (the one where he holds the person up and then slams them. That was always preset as batista's till I guess this year Quote

best in the world Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Unless I just overlooked it, I didn't see Batista's actual spinebuster in game. Which is weird because it was in past SD games. Whatever, most people make a big deal out of it. I just pick one and stick with it, which in this case is the Divo Drop. Others don't think it looks right but it is simply a matter of personal preference really..... Quote

best in the world Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Yeah I totally missed spinebuster 7 and you are correct, it is Batista's version. Glad I found it because the Divo Drop always looked like a chick move and not as authoritative as big Dave's version. I am surprised that 2K didn't make it Batista's default signature. 2K needs to have a separate development team specifically devoted to movesets and accuracy. That way you get realistic moves for each WWE Superstar and that particular team could devote time to researching individual moves that each roster member uses. Quote

I have no idea why they gave batista that other one, just like I have no idea why spinebuster 7 can't be used as an irish whip counter move outside of being a signature or finisher.. I hate when moves are limited like that lol Quote
best in the world Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 When I first unlocked Batista and saw that spinebuster, I was like WTF?!!! You'd think it would be simple and easy to include Dave's spinebuster on his moveset instead of giving him the wrong version. Especially since that correct Spinebuster 7 is already in game..... Quote
best in the world Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 ^^^^ LOL, gotta be the weirdest random comment! Couldn't we all use some? Quote
AgeofSandow Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 ^^^^ LOL, gotta be the weirdest random comment! Couldn't we all use some? Oh, I was talking about 2K hiring staff to make moves for them lol Quote
best in the world Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 @AgeofSandow: My bad, lol. There wasn't enough specific comment to clarify what you meant. Definitely agree though 2k Sports can afford a team to concentrate solely on move sets and making them all accurate. Quote
