UnderTaker1784 Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 This was posted on 2k forums by a use named KahRiss. ?.. I beleive that ithas great merit and could be a strong indicater for what direction 2k is going for next gen atleast for a new engine possibly Eco-Motion. Here is KahRiss post including, photos and videos thank you..... I was just bored, really bored, and I ran up on the video that 2K made about their Eco-Motion engine used on NBA 2K15. I've watched it before and I'm sure most of you have also watched it. I honestly feel like an idiot because I've just realized that this is probably the same engine WWE 2K15 will run on. I've tried looking it up on Google and other forums and there hasn't been a lot of discussion about it which is pretty surprising, but it won't discourage me. And just because something's in an article, doesn't mean it's true(Just like all of those idiotic, un-professional writers who were saying WWE 2K15 would release in March because they didn't know what a Fiscal Year was). Just because other people are not discussing it and haven't pointed it out yet, doesn't mean it can't be true. I firmly believe that I should think for myself and when I do, I can find stuff like this, and put 2 and 2 together by myself. I realize I still have no concrete evidence, considering most of you guys think the only form of concrete evidence is an official announcement from 2K, but I'm pretty convinced, let me tell you why.The Evidence: I truly wouldn't be posting this on a public forum if I didn't truly have confidence in what I'm saying. The evidence I have is the picture of Justin Gabriel under the same lights and cameras as Lebron James in the video below, both of them being asked to make different facial expressions. You're probably thinking(and I was too), "He's just getting his faced scanned for his character model, how is that evidence of anything to do with an engine?" Well as you continue to watch the video after Lebron is "scanned", you see that they use those facial expressions that he made, to tie into into his reactions during the game, to bring more life into him, which is supposedly a part of the Eco-Motion engine. This is presumably the reason Justin Gabriel was making these crazy facial expressions as well. What that means is that these "scans" they conducted on Justin Gabriel and Lebron James are not just for character models, they are also a part of the Eco-Motion engine.(Didn't realize until later that some of you guys already discussed and realized that WWE 2K15 was going to use the Eco-Motion engine, sorry for the big part about evidence, but some people still don't know or aren't confident in it, so, meh)What this means for the game: I've seen a lot of people really upset and un-optimistic about the game solely because they think that Yukes is developing the game with a larger role over Visual Concepts. Just the fact that the game is running on Visual Concept's engine, means that Visual Concepts in the big stick in this equation. What this also means is that we have a new engine for WWE games, an engine unlike any seen in other WWE games before. I saw a thread somewhere where people were discussing how they'd want wrestlers to react to their moves, i.e. Randy Orton shouldn't hit an RKO, and go back into his normal stance, having 0 reaction to what he just did. From what we see in this Eco-Motion trailer, that wouldn't be the case in WWE 2K15. I believe that if you just picture everything in this video, applied to the WWE, you will have yourself a sneak peak at WWE 2K15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BJR6z1W7EwThings From This Video You Could Apply To WWE 2K15: - Realistic Reactions and Emotions - A Focus On Next Gen - Specific Attention To Detail - Realistic Lighting and Arena - Material Reaction(Clothing) - All About "Life" - Foot Placement(No More Sliding Around) - Think, Behave, and Respond As They Do In Real Life - Lead Platform Of Development - Playstation 4 My opion also posted at 2k forums.... amazing, clap, clap, clap..... I was going to post something like this but never did, I agree this is pure evidence that 2k is using the same engine as nba for wwe and im going to share this with smacktalks.org and see what they think on there forums I will give you credit for this thread thank you so vary much..... I already hwd a feeling befoore that 2k was heading in this direction and I also beleive that 2k/Visual concepts are sharing this technology with yukes.... they need to for there portions of development for the game to work, I beleive yukesand visual concepts are both using this tech to improve the game for nextgen.... for 360/ps3 I also beleive that vc and yukes maybe another yukes team are working together to maybe create simular game play as next gen and maybe( now guessing) using the unreal 2 engine for that gen seeing a yukes have used it for the svr games before wwe12 and 2k have usedit on other ps3/360gamesitcould be 2ks way of improving and making a somewhat comparable last gen wwe2k15compaired to the next gen version of wwe 2k15. 1 Quote
Ballard Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Saw this earlier and I think that dude might be on to something. Hopefully they really are using that tech. Clothes flowing freely and unique facial expressions would be really amazing little additions. Quote
AgeofSandow Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 this could be true. it's something I've wanted for a long time, and might somehow play a role in the predator technology improvements I've mentioned before. Quote
Tamer™ Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 We did get a photo of Gabriel getting a face shot EXACTLY like they way Bryant got his. Quote

Actually I would rather have this engine for xbox one and ps4 without predator technology as well as the unreal engine2 for the 360/ps3 also without predator technology its time to let that go games before were better without it so its time to dismiss the predator technology.........!!!!!!!! He talking about daniel bryan and you maybe talking about the last gen versions im talking Eco-Motion on next gen the process maybe different for each gen.... Quote

I would be willing to dismiss it for a year so it can be developed, but the technology itself cannot go. Think of all the things a person could do with it; they can break up a finisher with a clothesline, do a finisher on someone while they are doing their finisher, do a double submission, do unique double team moves, grab the ropes to intercept a diving or springboard move, or even catch someone midair from a springboard move. The possibilities are endless Quote
UnderTaker1784 Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Ok thats the pic in this thread proving that Eco-Motion could possibly be the new engine for next gen wwe. Quote
JwabHDTV Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 So like, I was thinking about thumbtacks in the game and putting people on to these thumbtacks and this eco-motion working. Just throwing that in there... 1 Quote
Mr.Y2J Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Damn if WWE's graphics will be as good as NBA's I will be so pumped for this game Quote

best in the world Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 That would be awesome if they used that technology because the whole Predator technology sucks! It isn't realistic at all and it needs to change. Using a new engine would solve the problem. I won't believe it though until a 2K source confirms it..... Quote
