How to fix the default glitch for CAWS on WWE 2K14

First of all You don't need to follow all of this

old save-caws-on-cc-are-showing-up-default-for-you-this-is-your-fix/

 

 

 

The reason it glitches:

1. You get Your save corrupted
2. You redownload the DLC's from the download history

 

 

How to fix it:

1. Simply delete all Your old save, Sorry it's the only solution to do it, You can keep the CAS files and inject them again later.
2. DO NOT Download anything from the download history, This is the reason that makes it glitch, Just go to the  Shop ingame and redownload the DLC's

   We're done!

Unfortunately this is a problem for me. I downloaded the dlc from another account, since I had money on there, and needed to transfer to my active account. Problem is, I can only download from download list; I have to buy the dlc again if I go on the shop. So I guess I'm stuck.

I didn't do anything that would result in this to happen , and I have it too.

Maybe on  PS3 it's different? I don't know this works well for me on xbox, My save got corrupted and when I started downloading caws they default.

It's just one of those things really, while I can download caws perfectly I am unable to play stories without it freezing.

Dude if You don't have season pass and You download non DLC caws You'll always be fine even if it corrupted.

Maybe 2K should patch it from happening.

 

Deleting the entire save seems a bit extreme as it takes hours to dl 100 CAWs & 50 CAA as well as syncing all the themes for entrance.

 

If it was me I probably wouldnt even bother with it. Id just put up with it.

that fix didn't work for me.i did everything exactly like you said on my ps3 and certain caw still show up default. after trying 2 different ways of supposedly fixing it i give up. i won't start from scratch a fourth time and have resigned myself to just not being able to have certain caws. maybe the fix only works on the 360 side....

I don't think there is any fix for the CAW default glitches.  It is something that happens and unless 2K comes up with a big patch release, it'll stay that way.  The best we can hope for is that 2K can fix it in the upcoming titles.....

By all means, enlighten me.  And don't say deleting the cache or some other blatant BS, I have done that many times and it still does not affect the default CAW glitch.  It just seems like to me that people are always claiming that there's some magical fix when in reality, it was just a case of 2K rushing the product with no real fix to be found.....
