WWE 2K15 Manager OMG Moments

There has been talk on the forum about Managers needing to be looked into for WWE2K15 as previous years the AI has been a little useless and they just don't seem to add any value what so ever.

Here is a little concept I put together where Managers will become gamer changers and will now have the ability to support you in a match when you need to call upon them.

Let me know you think of my Concept and stay tuned to my YouTube Channel for more WWE2K15 Concepts!

I really hope 2K sees all of your concept videos! They're amazing!

I'd like to see this in 2K15, hopefully a manager could hand an opponent brass knuckles to sneak into the match, maybe a manager distracts the opponent and you can spit green mist in their faces, the possibilities are endless with the Game Changer.

I really like these ideas and it would give use to using managers again. The managers was one of my favourite aspects of Legends Of WrestleMania because of the unique abilities each of them were given.

yeah the manager system in LOWM was great! I actually hoped they would have ported that feature over to the WWE games

Might be offtopic, but not really sure where to ask this. Could you make a video discussing a  better reversal system, where reversal fests disappear, and a momentum shifter move leads to a comeback? Also, videos for reversing a signature/finisher directly into one, or even a duck into a finisher, and one for a spree of signatures and finishers?

Yet they cant be bothered to use this in the main series.

Even Legends of Wrestling had a better managing system than the main WWE series.

Wow!  I hope 2K are paying attention because this would be an epic addition to the WWE games.  They have needed a smart cheat/manager implementation in game for the longest time.  Of course, this would work both ways because the AI was getting pretty aggressive in WWE2K14 and if it keeps getting smarter, then it will be possible to lose based on game changer OMG moments.  And speaking of that, they also need more than three or four OMG moments.  They currently only have the apron DDT, corner boot on the outside, barricade breaker, and Taker's plancha.  We need more character specific OMG moments that are finisher based like Orton's numerous RKO reversals or other moves that can be used in an OMG setting.  I also think 2K needs to implement more finishers to get out of situations like using a stored finisher to kick out of a pin[after being damaged and using resilency] and also using stored finishers to get out of breaking point submissions.  It would be similar also with using stored finishers to prevent Royal Rumble elimination or reversing big Elimination Chamber moments to swing momentum.  If we fans are paying attention to things like these, hopefully 2K are also working to implement these improvements as well.

As for which moments specifically I'd like to see for OMG, the biggest ones are Eddie Guerrero's lie, cheat, and steal type of OMG moment where he faked a chair shot and threw the chair to his opponent.  Or for finisher reversals, Orton's reversal RKO out of shooting star or any other chain finisher reversal.  Or how bout Batista reversing Cena's top rope leg drop into a Batista Bomb?  Those would look sick in-game as OMG moments.  Even things like Taker reversing HBK's moonsault attempt into a Tombstone Pile driver.  Anything that can be done in real life should be possible as OMG moments.

A big solution to the lack of OMG moments is a better predator technology. Update the tech so a move near ropes/corner/barricade/anything else lands on that spot, doing more damage and having a tweaked sell. Also, make predator technology what it was supposed to be-realistic.  Instead of weird break-ups of moves, allow someone to stop a move with a running strike(like clothesline hhh when doing pedigree), your own finisher(two subs at same time, or Walls of Jericho into RKO, for example), a weapon shot, a diving attack, or in tag matches, allow for double team moves with this system. Could take time to do, but definitely would improve gameplay and realism 100x.

I would love a option so you could belt the chair on the mat, toss it at your opponent and then claim he KO ed you with it resulting in a DQ as a OMG moment.

Yeah, I never got why the "Predator technology" was being touted as a major accomplishment in the series.  In many ways, it was a major step backwards in gameplay.  You should be able to chain finishers into other reversal finishers and be able to land any standing finisher into an OMG moment.  Some areas like tables were improved on with better move detection through tables and same with ladder interaction.  Other areas like standing grapples were worse in many aspects and hopefully 2K can either improve or overhaul the system to make it better than it currently is.

you mean like eddie guerrero? yeah that would be great, since I've never seen that cutscene happen in universe yet!

Highly overrated. Extremely choppy, making it seem like a 10 year old developed it.  Ladder physics are terrible now also; knocking over a ladder(which should be changed) can stun another person, running off ropes and running into a ladder trips a person, a ladder bump never lands outside ring, and moves rarely go through tables when they should. It's a hot mess.

I hated those new technology features.

Especially the feature to break every move up.

well to be fair, if there was a ladder in front of your path, you would run into it

I also hate how when you try running strikes or grapples, the competitors run into each other like two big spastic goofs!  Seriously, how many times do you see that in wrestling?  The only thing positive that came from the "Predator technology" was better table interaction with d throw moves going through tables.  I kind of liked the ultimate control grapple setup in the older games better for putting opponent through tables though.  So in a lot of ways the supposed better technology was actually a step or two backwards.......

If a wrestler ran into a ladder he would sell the bump where as in a video game it doesnt.

yeah, it's completely silly. Plus, who ever knocks over a ladder when nobody is on it? Shouldn't they just pick it up and adjust? Little sense there. Another problem I've encountered is that someone takes an incredible bump off a ladder and stands up like one second later.

I know its just a wrestling game but I would like realism. I hate it how you can bump the Ladder when someone is on it and they get right up after 2 seconds.
