I was going to wait to see what console CAW makers gravitated towards, but I just went ahead and got a PS4 today. I can't support MS anymore after what they tried to pull with the Kinect and DRM. If PS4 gets some good texture hacked CAWs then cool, if not, oh well. Quote

Titavius Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) for those of you thinking for some reason you're going to be getting texture hacked CAW's on next gen, I have some bad news. if you're getting it on next gen, you'll be playing the game the way it was intended to be played. if you're getting it on last gen, you're more likely to get the texture / render hacks etc.. SVR07 really only added that "Specular"/Shine thing for 360 and maybe a few upgraded visuals. But even if i had next gen i would just get it on 360. That's why that #RavenTurnsheel guy on the 2k forums is annoying me.. he keeps saying everything would be better if 2k 86'd the last gen consoles. Which is stupid in my eyes. I know hacker-t will find a way to improve the game on 360 as will pur3rafx if he gets the game lol Quote

M42Productions Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 (edited) I'll be getting it for the 360 because (1) it'll probably be the easiest version to mod, assuming it'll be possible at all; (2) I can't afford a next-gen (current-gen?) system right now; (3) I have a feeling that the 360/PS3 version will have the full Creation Suite, while the newer versions won't. (The last thing is based on what I've read about the next-gen versions of NBA 2K14 vs. current-gen: next-gen has pretty faces but no Create-a-Player, while the opposite is true for current-gen.) It's pretty evident that it will look better on PS4. They announced exclusive pre-order bonuses to PS4 with NBA 2K15. They announced GTA V at Sony's E3 conference. Any WWE gamer who doesn't already have a next gen console should be looking at the PS4 as their next console. yeah i was already going with ps4 in my mind (since i can't afford one right now) ever since the E3 conference last year LOL Microsoft was talking too much about tv and having all these split screens with entertainment crap that i just didn't give a rats ass about LOL So yeah whenever i can save up for it i'd definitely be going with PS4 this time around. And yeah i think all games are actually being created on ps4 and ported to the xbox one. I just don't want wwe2k15 cause i already know that it won't have custom tracks support...even if the ps4 gets the feature patched in around say november, that would possibly mean that the design team may not have the feature on the game at all. That's a question that 2k will really need to answer. I remember when svr08 came out, that was the first year that 360 versions got the custom tracks feature for wwe games, but ps3 didn't get custom tracks till SVR09. So yeah that's probably one reason why i won't get 2k15 on anything but 360 this year lol Speaking of that, that's one person i can't stand on the 2k forums, Raventurnsheel.. 90% of his convos are about how they should just dump the 360/ps3 and only make games for ps4/xbox1. Even at one point on another forum that he banned me from cause he didn't like that i was putting him on the spot, lol, he said that if it were him he wouldn't even make wwe games on xbox one at all... only ps4 and i was like what the hell? It's weird, i have 70 caws in my wwe current universe (no renders or anything) and the game never freezes, yet in my wcw and earlier wwe universes i always get freezeups. Not sure if that was the problem but yeah no one will get textures are any kind of hacks in the current gen versions Quote

Which is why I am excited that 2K made the decision to upgrade the specs this year. Hopefully we'll see a trailer or start getting the 2K live streams soon.... Quote

That doesn't mean anything. you do know that the 360 version up till 2k14 had less issues right? 2k14 is the only 360 version of a wwe game where i've had 50 million freezeups per hour. It was like that on ps3 on 13. I have already pre-ordered 2K15 on PS3. Besides, the graphics won't be that much different on the next gen consoles.
