Game Crash Modded Pacs - Problem Resolved

had to reinstall everything to get it working 

 

lost all my mods trying to reinstall it 

 

but a problem comes up and is frustrating the hell out of me 

 

 

i get the original superstar pac file uncompress it change the header to epk8

 

inject the new attire data into the pac file in xpacker update the philst arc

 

replace the philst arc and the superstar pac in the directory , when i attempt to play as the character in game i get a fatal crash error .. this is frustrating the hell out of me seems its never happened before ...

the file itself is roman reigns trying to use this mod 

 

and everytime i use it the game crashes

Did you update the arcs for Reigns?

yes pressed update arc then dragged it over into my game directory replacing philst.arc 

 

then replacing the original roman regins pac

Does it crash just before entrances? Have you tried turning entrances off then trying to choose him? The reason I am asking is I had a couple of mods do that before and they were fine, but somehow the entrance/moveset pacs got corrupted. But they loaded perfect with entrances turned off.

it freezes when i select him as a character cannot get past the selection screen 

 

 

i must be forgetting something , because before my game corrupted it used to work

Update both arc and see . If that doesnt work try add attires to both arc insted of just updating.

Does it freeze only with Reing ?

i get unhandled exception error if i try update both 

 

 

i tried again just using add additional attire still crashes

 

gonna try another mod tommorow

 

this is my process correct me if i am doing this wrong 

 

 

1 . open xpacker select roman reigns modded pac

 

 

 

 

2.update the philst arc

 

 

3. copy and replace both philst arc and ch pac file in the game directory

I think it has to do with the .def file and .arc file as its reading the wrong entry from .def file so, maybe the game is crashing.

 

If you have the backup of your game try it to see how the game is loading with Roman Reigns.

 

Coming to the above process to update .arc file you have to use 'update arc' and if the pac has the additional attire data such as entrance stuff then you have to choose the  'add additional attire data to the arc.'

ok so how would i update the def file. i never used to do that before 

 

 

 do i update arc on the def file ? then it should work  ???

if i replace roman reigns back to his normal pac it works fine but the modded one crashes ( for everyones information)

How many attires does the modded pac have?

 

Add all the attires in misc01_Start.pac file

the modded pac replaces the original one its just a better model of reigns , first time when i tried it , it worked fine no hassles now not so much

The modded pac file may have become corrupt, download it again and try.

bloody hell , tried installing another mod worked perfectly .. installed Mathayus

Dean ambrose mod , worked like a charm redownloaded the Reigns one and get the Fatal Crash again ... Ahhhh why !?!?!

It has to be the arc file, upload your plist360.arc and the pac file and ill have a look at it for you.

Nope nothing wrong with the pac or the arc. I added him to my game and it works fine with the same arc entry.

Weird, Im not sure what to suggest now

could it be the def file ? or could filezilla be corrupting it or something
