GameElite™ Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I did this to it to make the render in the center stand out Quote
Ollie™ Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 The Goldust one looks a tad weird, it's good dgmw but I'd lower the background opacity since the main render blends in too much with it. Quote
RollingRocky300 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 (edited) Thanks. My first proper one:- Usable:- What if i add gifs to my signatures? Edited February 15, 2015 by RollingRocky300 Quote
GameElite™ Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Looks good but im not a fan of the colors maybe desaturate the background just a touch and it would look awesome Quote
GameElite™ Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 (edited) Touched it up a bit, do this and I think it would be excellent but still it does look really good Edited February 15, 2015 by GameElite™ Quote
Ollie™ Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Really good, make sure the background images are always proper in ratio, they look a tad too skinny and it's also a turn-off when you can't see what's going on in the picture, like in the bottom left one, you can only see his elbow. Other than that you've gotten really good, glad you're taking the advice. Quote
Soul RiderX Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Really good, make sure the background images are always proper in ratio, they look a tad too skinny and it's also a turn-off when you can't see what's going on in the picture, like in the bottom left one, you can only see his elbow. Other than that you've gotten really good, glad you're taking the advice. ^^^This You should always remember to keep the pictures in the right proportion, because massing a thing like that up will ruin the entire piece, no matter how good it is. Also, like Nerd said, you have a problem with your sigs, and that is that every picture feels like is thrown over for no purpose without the right placing. In your Cesaro one, there is the one of the bottom right, which you can only see half of his face, and the other is covered by the main render, which really makes the quality of the work go down a lot. The blending also doesn't work here at all. I'll give you a tip. When you try to blend in images, make sure that most of them are of the same kind, like if you pick a bright pic with some detail in the BG like you have with the bottom left picture in the Cesaro one, make sure to pick another one that looks close to it, because ,most of the time it will blend in better then the darker tone pictures. Other then that, when you try to blend and it doesn't work out that good, try to fix it up with the eraser tool. Just lower the opacity of it to something from 30 to 60, and carefully erase that undesired parts. Also, try to find better pictures, because only in the middle of writing this replay I noticed that there is a picture of Cesaro of the top right corner. The coloring is also too intense and there is to many shades going on in there which really makes it worse. When it comes to the Zayn one, you can see a bit of an improvement when it comes to the blending stuff, but I'll credit it with the use of the textures to cover up the messed up spots. Like I said on the Cesaro one, try to pay more attention to the placing of the BG images, because its a critical part of the work, and really sets the tone for the entire piece. I also noticed that for some reason some part of the picture on the bottom left is going over the main render, which is kinda of weird. The main thing that kills this piece though is the color use and the lightning. The main color scheme is so dry and lifeless it makes me want to take my eyes off it just after a few shorts seconds. You should try and make your sigs a bit more eye catching, try to play with the lightning effects, mess around with different textures like I always say, check out the color balance and things of that nature to make the sig pop up more and don't seem so out of life. Also for further notice, you should consider adding a small watermark to your future works so people will not claim them as there own. Quote
GameElite™ Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Some of the coloring could be fixed and make the main render pop out a bit more so it does not look blended Quote
