Godzilla 2014

Seen the film on thursday and I was going to make a thread earlier, But This is for anyone who is a godzilla fan who have seen the movie or is planning to. So I'll start by giving my brief opinion on the film.

 

I think the movie was great and has made up for the film that was '98 Godzilla. It wasnt cheesy, and the monsters actually had purpose other than smash this and that. Didnt see it in 3d but that was fine. I hope this movie is successful enough for a sequel.

Saw it today and it was very good and miles better then that shitty 1998 film. I agree with some of the reviews that I read that Godzilla did not get much screen time. Also I did not like that 

Just when we are about to see Godzilla fight the male MUTO for the first and second time the film cuts away and we don't see them fight. Godzilla using the Atomic Breath was awesome.

Havnt seen it but want to. Not a huge Godzilla fan, had zero interest in the 98 version and as such never watched it, but for some reason this one appeals.

As long as its not dreadful I'll be happy enough

I like how they did it. Some one described it as someone being thirsty and each time they are giving you a sip until you have the full drink and it was worth the wait. Apparently the sequel is in talks because it was so succesful.
