If I'm out and about a pair of blue jeans, one of a handful of shirts and a hat. When I'm at work a pair of black dress pants and a good plain dark t-shirt or if I'm feelin fancy a polo. Quote

fufu ÷ Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Gayest topic ever. don't worry, i'll only want to bum you if you dress well, which nobody here does... so far. Quote
The Don Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Gayest topic ever. Agree'd. When did men decide they want to spend as much time, if not more, than a woman getting dressed and fussing with their hair. Don't get me wrong, I have long hair and I put a little shit in it before work to keep it for goin all crazy so I look presentable, but that's work and I need to look half decent. What happened to rolling out of bed, pulling on the jeans you wore to the bar the night prior, grabbing the cleanest smelling shirt on your floor and heading out the door. We're guys! We can get away with this shit! Quote

The Don Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 No, fuck that. There's no way to say this without sounding like a flaming homosexual but I look just fine after three minutes. Blue jeans, t-shirt, hat, shoes, DONE! Look at a picture of your great grandpa, I bet you he was in black pants and a white button down shirt and he looked stylin. Fuck all that "Oh I gotta have Converse, Tapout, Gucci, Hooci, Whatthefuckever. You guys went into more detail than the damn women! Fuckin metrosexual hipster bullshit! Do you guys go for mani-pedis too? I can't help but think Thom is somewhere beating his dick to this thread. P.S. I still love you all. Except DPO, he's a cunt. Quote
fufu ÷ Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 I get my bum waxed, lol. I also get my clothes from all over the place. I have jumpers from Korea. I few vest things from Japan. Shirts and shorts from America. Shirts from Algeria, Hungary, Australia and Bali - among other places. I have a rainbow t-shirt with Brian Blessed riding a Henry Hoover down Rainbow Road while racing Goldie on a Dyson and drinking White Lightning. Just cause I have a dope wardrobe doesn't mean it takes longer to get ready. I'm hella happy with the dope shit I have, and I like seeing what other people have. Quote

I can admit, I might have went overboard on all the belts, but they are nice lol. Still, wearing stuff like that and taking time out to look nice isn't gay, it's actually very respectable. I respect anyone that cares about their image and not seeming like a slob. Quote
The Don Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I just don't get it is all. I look "respectable" in a pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt. Clothes don't make the man, the man makes the clothes. What gets me is, like I said, you guys went into more detail than to women here. All the accessories and accoutrements just seems unnecessary to me. A pair of nice dress slacks and button down shirt will NEVER go out of style. Jeans and a t-shirt will always be acceptable in most situations. A lot of guys nowadays are putting more thought into their outfits than their women. If you're going out to a club or something, get spifferiffic. Goin to court, you dress up. Running to the store for a gallon of milk, jeans and a t-shirt will suffice. And I never once said anyone is gay. My exact quote was "There's no way to say this without sounding like a flaming homosexual but I look just fine after three minutes." I just don't get it, maybe it's a cultural thing since I'm in a pretty blue collar, medium income area. Or maybe I just don't give a shit. The only males I see putting a lot of time and effort into their day to day apparel like has been listed here are; Gay (Nothing wrong with that) Teenagers Going to a club Have to for their work. You want to be a label whore and think it makes you look better than everyone else. More power to you. I'm content in my jeans and tees, I think I look just as goon in those as I would with all the swanky stuff. Again, the man makes the clothes. Maybe I'm just old. Quote

Definitely not a label whore. I get the stuff because I wanted it at a younger age, mostly when I was from 12-16, and my parents told me no. I look back on those days now and think I looked really foolish being angry over such things. Quote

jitz Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I don't think it's gay to wear nice clothes, I think it's a massive homosexual tendency to talk about fashion and tell each other how great you look in your new vest. You can look nice guys, but a man doesn't come running to a wrestling video game message board looking for approval of your massive sense in chic style. Quote

And let's just wait for him to say something no need to call him names for my assumption. Quote
