Help identifying LOD/Road Warrior Attires :)

Hi all,

 

Just added Bugsy's ace Road Warriors attires. Want to name them correctly and I'm unsure where they are from however.

The first is this one - they come in with red pads, ring attire:

The second one I'm unsure of is this one - I think it's from their spell in the NWA, but wasn't sure:

The last one is the same as above, but the trouser text is in yellow.

It doesnt resemble a WWF version to me. I remember LODs matches and its not something I recall.

 

Actually take that back Ive found it. Its one of their early WWF matches shortly after they debuted in 1990. Back when they debuted they used to have the facepaint they wore also on the side of their tights.

 

Its probably Superstars of Wrestling 21st July 1990 but I need to check for the actual date.

I remember the 90's ones simply having the stripes type design - almost like stripe spear-heads. I've never seen the first one in the WWF either, but I was a follower mainly in the late 1980's so only caught the start of LOD's WWF career.

The ones with the face paint logo on the pants are from WWF and the ones with Road Warriors on the side are from WCW/NWA era

Well the first one if you search youtube lod 1990 there is one of the squash matches with a similar design but its almost likely they had these at the start of the wwf run.

I am going to look into this at the weekend. Ill check my tapes and put pics up of their early career and see what I can find.

Yeah I thought the others were from NWA. I just wasn't sure exactly when they wore the ones with the facepaint pattern on the trunks, I'll have a nose about to get somethign exact. Thanks
