Completely agree with what people are saying - they should try to make a better game and that takes time.

 

On the other hand, some more dlc would be good, maybe some models from the last game such as the USOs and maybe some AE guys again and perhaps another moves pack. Why not!

well I don't really know at this point whether to be happy or not.  Since I heard that the guy that directed the MLB2K series is also Directing/In charge of the WWE2K series now.  If that's true, then I definitely won't buy day 1 since all the MLB2K games sucked.

Love it. Glad it's not going to be a rushed title. I'd rather the time be taken to make sure its a solid game before it's released. I'm a huge fan of 2K's NBA series and hope they put their mark on this one for next gen.

Providing they do something worthy with the game and take as many current faults out as possible, I'm all for it.

I have never played the MLB 2K games, so I'm not familiar with how good or bad they are.  Hopefully if they were that awful at those games they will try to use another approach similar to what the NBA 2K team takes.  I am hoping that key areas of the game are at least revamped if not overhauled.  It'd be nice to see updated more realistic graphics because they have remained virtually unchanged since the older SVR games.  Also, I'd like to see better gameplay mechanics especially with a different submission system because the breaking points are too easy subs should be somewhere in between easy and moderately difficult.  Commentary is another concern that needs to be updated or completely changed we should hear real emotion and not some awful voice acting inside a sound studio booth.  It comes off robotic and rehearsed.  2K also needs to implement a new system for their online matches because entirely too many users spam or otherwise cheat.  They need an automatic fair fight so that when someone beats you in an online match, it is because of superior skill and not some spam that works if you use it.  If more time means 2K will fix all of that and ensure no glitches/freezing, I'd be happy.

Not a definite source, Alex, but one of the guys I follow on twitter is a WWE Games Community Leader and he pretty much knows a lot of this stuff that's behind the scenes. He also was a playtester last year so i'm sure he knows what he's talking about.  He secretly gave me info on the 30 years mode as well as gave me the reason behind Ric Flair's Entrance being removed from WWE 13 (TNA lawsuit)

Usually Amazon's listings are tentative until something more concrete is set.  They probably just listed the usual date since the series always releases around that time.  Maybe we'll find out more during E3....

That could be just coincidental.  Who knows?  When it comes to games, nothing is certain until it comes from the source in this case 2K sports or any other reputable site.  I wouldn't really be surprised if WWE does release it fall 2014 so they can keep making money.  They did the same thing with the WWE Network and didn't take their time instead operating what can only be described as a half way running network.  WWE has a history of greed over quality.  I'd rather see the game delayed but WWE knows most fans will buy it regardless....

Its going to depend on what they have to offer this year.

 

They made a load of money on those Austin & Taker signatures so not sure what they would offer this year. Maybe a Hulk Hogan one.

I agree on this. There was a DVD that was listed really wanted, then when the release date got mentioned on Amazon waited patiently for it & guess what happened when we got to the date? It changed to the next year so I waited a whole year & then they changed the date by adding 100 years to it.

 

Honestly if its not coming out just delete the listing.
