Extra time to do it right and Visual Concepts helping in development is the best thing that could happen right now. 2K14 does at least need a patch to fix some lingering bugs if we're not getting another game this year. This is especially vague since the game is typically a Fall release title. The reason for this vagueness is that the company may have another release window in mind. With WrestleMania scheduled for March 29, 2015 -- and with the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2015 next year -- its not impossible that WWE 2K could be pushed back to an early Spring or Winter release to coincide with the company's WrestleMania push. It does make sense to push the game back a bit to give Visual Concepts and Yukes some time to develop the next-gen product -- but we'll know soon enough what is actually the case with the game's release date. I still think it will come out on 360/ps3 since nba2k14 did the same. There's no reason to abandon it. And before you go on and say that the 360/ps3 will hold the franchise back, this is not the same as the ps2 vs 360/ps3 generation. and Microsoft has already said they are going to support the current gen/last gen systems till 2016 Quote

Also, they mentioned something about a "WCW Mode" which would be similar to "30 Years of WrestleMania" mode. That's a damn good idea because WWE '13 had Attitude era mode and didn't show the WCW side of things. Being a big WCW fan, I would love to see that mode used because it could be a great roster with WCW, WWF legends, and current era/NXT. Imagine that roster diversity! If that happens, hopefully 2K will release a big update patch for 2k14 to hold us over until 2k15 comes out. Quote

They wanted to wait till this year to release it but wwe had to have it released then. Having it released in march is a good thing imo you're only waiting 5 more months. I think we can deal with that. especially if everything is fixed, but don't count on being able to mod stuff. I'm sure they'll use a lot of that time to fix exploitables Quote
