If you own a basketball team, why would you stir the brothas up? Talk about biting the hand that feeds.

The clippers are a basketball team? Holy shit, lol.

They just Krispen Wah'd this fuck.

They're forcing him to sell the team. So, everyone is happy is getting banned, but in the bigger picture he's gaining about $800,000,000.

So here's the fly in the ointment here... It seems like this is an argument between two adults in a relationship who are having problems. And it seems like this was a private phone call as well. Is it fair that he's being PROFESSIONALLY punished for a PRIVATE remark? There's no disputing he's an idiotic insecure racist, but should he be going through all of this over a private discussion/argument? Before you say he should, stop and think for a second... I'm sure everyone here has gone on a "Goddamn Niggers/Jews/Crackers/Wetbacks/Whatevers" tangents before, be it serious or not. Personal is personal and business is business. He can say "Keep the goddamn niggers and beaners away from my games." all he wants, but it wouldn't of happened and his words would be lost in the wind.

I'm not defending him here, he seems like an insecure racist. But let's face facts here, most old white people ARE racist. Don't make it right but they'll die soon and it's all good. And let's say it was reversed and it's a black owner saying he doesn't want crackas at his games and whatever else, would it be as big of a deal then? I highly doubt it. Now if he want on his little tirade during a business call or something, I'd understand. This just seems like someone making a private dispute public which shouldn't be done.

And also, whatever happened to the first amendment?

This is not going to be a APA or MLA format, but let's be practical what about the Isaiah Washington when he was fired for telling Patrick Dempsey “I’m not your little faggot like T.R. Knight". Even though the main issue with the Isaiah situation was a GAY AND NOT A WHITE ISSUE, he still got his ass chewed up literally by not just white but Black folks as well bra.

Plus we got so many High Class Uncle Ruckus out here that think classism is the best way to go, it would definitely be a big deal because they don't want there money getting fucked over plan and simple family.

also u mf re-tweeting Paula Deen new crap and donald sterling is 81 bullshit go kill yourself by running into a cheese shredder.

Not to be rude but can I get a translation as I don't follow basketball at all... Particularly the first and last parts.

Do you think the LA Clippers players should give back the tens of millions of dollars they made from Donald Sterling. It's the right thing to do. They don't want to be known as the kind of people who have accepted money from a notorious racist, do they? UCLA just returned Sterling's $425,000 donation and refused the $3 million more he was going to give, so shouldn't the players give back their money too, or at least give it to charity? Politicians return large donations all the time after learning the donor has made some racist comments, so it's only right that the LA Clippers players do it to.

Apparently, if they want to be portrayed as civil beings, in my opinion they should be forced to give back that money. After all, let's face facts, they're getting paid for fucking shooting balls in a basket. All that aside, I don't mean to defend this man in any shape or form of the way. Every old twat will have his racial and sexist insecurities. He's certainly not the first and by far not the last.

The same can be said of this generation's acceptance of the gays. It is a controversial matter. Pretty soon, when bestiality and incest is allowed, it will be a controversial matter to the generation after us.

The nail is hit right on the head. If the media is pressurizing the NBA and choosing to target this fuck out his money due to everyday remarks that hell, my co-worker said fifteen times before his coffee break, it's completely taken out of context. There are far worse things out there. The disproportion and misinterpretation is all the insane.

If the players want to maintain their integrity, according to the social contexts the media seems to outline, are their earnings deemed ethical? If morality is being questioned and everyone seems to be drinking off the Holy Grail that is this piss shit "equality" apparently, they should fork over the money as well since image is so important and that's how people are dictated by.

As a matter of fact, the Census Bureau should be assigned to keep track of who is racist, sexist, and who is harpooning their cousin so that money can be collected for reparation to the state as well. Unfuckingbelievable.

Holy hell... I know my expectations were low for whoever replied to that but... Well done!

Them keeping the money is pretty the equivalent of saying "He can call us niggers all he wants, long as his checks clear." If they're THAT outraged, they should have no issues giving up the money he's given them. You simply can't try to take the moral high ground while cashing the check from the devil you're persecuting. I think there's a term for that, house nigger. "Yessa massa! I play ball long as you pay me. No Sir, I don't mind bein called a nigger, just keep a roof ova mah head!"

The social degradation and inferiority complex out here is downright pathetic. Every institution which was supposedly laid down as groundwork from the infamous "Civil Rights Movement" that was affirmed by the doctrine signed by Lyndon B. Johnson is rendered a joke because bribery and self-depreciation rules over all.

Aren't those accepting these type of payment methods equally responsible as well for practicing and engaging morally corrupt conduct? Why is one man targeted and others who are fed by "The Iron Hand" in the back watching a show unfold? If personal morality are the grounds to which is indubitably of higher regard, which is being interfered in business might I remind you, why am I forced to listen to a shameful plug by Magic Johnson on ESPN saying, "Oh well I'm hurt on behalf of every African American minority. There's no place in society for it. Basketball brings races together." and all this other sympathetic politically correct crap which makes me sick, that makes me realize that reality is again misrepresented.

These type of comments are widespread in any form of literature, satire, public discussion, formal conversation, what have you and will continue to be. This is a country which is inhabited by difference whether it be different religions or races. There will always be remarks made that are deemed "offensive" or "taboo," but it will not force anyone to prevent them from making it. It is the proverbial human condition to judge, make assumptions, and infer. We love to jump to conclusions. I can deduce however based on personal experience, that you cannot change a man's opinion, one especially in this stage of their lifetime, on a subject matter such as this. To each their own. Who gives a flying fuck if Donald Sterling hates so and so. What else is new? The L.A. Clippers will continue to employ the brothas, be it in terms of talent? It is questionable. Be it in terms of popularity? Absolutely. Who doesn't want the buzz?

The NBA is famous for their corruption, or else Mahmoud Abdul Rauf wouldn't have been boycotted. His personal beliefs, be it wasn't a wise career move to begin with, were indeed violated when his conviction was the reason he was quietly released and his talent was shoved up his ass. I'll leave this clip for you to analyze yourself Don and I apologize beforehand for the quality and if you think this guy's a bellend. It's just the act, but it sums up pretty much my point and yours on this ordeal entirely.
