UndertakerWLF Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Just been reading the thread and heres my 2 cents... Throughout all the Smackdown games that got released up until LOWM old school fans only got what 6 unlockable legends and half the time they were repeated on each release 'Stone Cold/Rock' for example. It was'nt until LOWM that old School fans got there wish.. it wasnt pefect to some but it was a start! Followin on from that you had the legends released as DLC in SVR2009, 2011 you had a handful of legends as DLC 'Luger, Bulldog and HBK WM8' it really was'nt until WWE12 that they started to really listen I think, in that batch you had Demolition! Road Warriors and Savage, then they shifted gears in 13 with the Attitude era which gave us access to guys not seen in a WWE game since the first Smackdown. A year later 2K is involved and you have what I think the greatest roster ever, again it's getting closer to the fact that legends are now almost outnumbering the current roster so what does that tell you? For me I grew up watching wrestling sincethe mid 80's so I've pretty much seen it all and to have watched WWE history unfold since then I feel blessed and I can appreciate guys like John Studd finally making it since LOWM and Bundy. I think what would be good is a proper old school legends game seperate from the current series, I would love to play in a 1993 Monday Night Raw Arena, see Warrior running to the ring at Summerslam , see Jimmy Hart take the Nasty Boys to the ring and to finally have an old school Rumble! On closing legends sell more than the current roster, its as simple as that. Quote
El Buvor Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 No more WWE All Stars, thanks god. I hated TNA Impact! and I also hated the spiritual sequel. Quote

We didnt want a game with a stupid finisher system so you couldnt pull off moves correctly. Plus the roster was lacking more names because THQ spent all this work on current stars models for the game. It was supposed to be a Legends game not current era. I never bought into the unlock SVR roster because THQ still had to make those models for this game they couldnt just import them over. Plus if this was the first 15 manias then where the hell was the 6 man tag option. This kinda destroyed the game for me. Quote

I don't know if I'm going to return to WWE2k14 mods, I would love to make a huge update (titantrons, themes, wrestlers...) Quote
Tamer™ Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) Yukes have given the legend fans 2 years worth of nostalga trips with the AE and 30YOWM so it's time that people like me get the career mode we always wished for. Edited April 24, 2014 by RatedRLionTamer™ Quote
best in the world Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I never tried the original All-Stars, so that'd be a no for All-Stars 2. I don't like the concept of arcade type of wrestling games and I'd rather see WWE focus on making their yearly 2K games awesome than to try another sub-category of lesser games. Quote
#HEELGlory Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Dear 2K, please make a proper legends game seperate from the current games Quote

RoKaDiTz Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 The only time I played All Stars quite a lot was 2 years ago. Had a lot of fun tbh. So yeah, I want All Stars 2. Quote

#HEELGlory Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Brawl would have been the worst game since WWF Warzone. Quote
iamthedoctor Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Brawl would have been the worst game since WWF Warzone. Warzone gets alot of unfair criticism. It was basically a promo version of WWF Attitude which followed a year later. Quote
BEAST987 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Worst game was WWF In Your House and WCW/NWO Thunder by far the worst games ever to be released alongside Legends Of Wrestling Showdown Quote

iamthedoctor Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Worst game was WWF In Your House and WCW/NWO Thunder by far the worst games ever to be released alongside Legends Of Wrestling Showdown Oh come on the Legends series was ace. It had a great roster a great CAW mode and was a pretty awesome game. I never encountered any problems with the game and found it totally enjoyable. In your House a bad game really? Or is it people didnt like a Mortal Kombat type WWE game with special moves. Quote
Bennyboi04 Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 it was a really fun game to play but it just needed a bigger roster & 1 or 2 more game modes to make it better Quote
Zark Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) I bought All Stars about a week ago and its horrible..... so I wouldn't Edited May 7, 2014 by Zarky Quote
